I just feel like if they wanted me they would have called today. I feel like the ppl they wanted they would call today so they could bring them in for paperwork on monday since theyre moving really fast... I didnt get a call and that means if I get one on monday, I dont think it will be to offer me the position.

So is it just MAC courtesy to not call their applicants if they dont get the job? I mean I'm trying to not jump to conclusions but its hard not to because I didnt get my call friday or today and theyre opening a new counter by the beginning of the month so thats why everything was slow then rushed. So they need their staff together NOW. So I feel like ish because I really dont think I got it which is BS because Ive put so much time and effort into this and It is highly HIGHLY unprofessional if they do not call me to at least say thank you for your time but we went with someone else. I dropped everything last minute to make these interviews which they only gave me 1day notice about.

Sorry Im just really sad and upset right now but Im holding out till tomorrow because maybe they just have ALOT that theyre doing which is probably the case esp with this short amount of time. Ive just been in this situation before where I completed all interviews and never got a call back! plus I want this so much. gah I just need to stay calm. It doesnt help that Im off from work all week so I only have this to occupy my mind lol. Having said that if there is no call then I will be pissed.

mondays are kinda rough days for managers. conference calls, paperwork, payroll, and so on and so forth. don't worries! have you called? if there is one thing i noticed in all the interview threads is that there is a period of waiting. don't give up hope! and when you feel the time is right give them a call. they actually like it when you call because it shows you are eager. also if it is for a new location they might be interviewing all who applied and then make a final decision.

enjoy your week off from work! when you least expect it, they'll call!

HELLO THERE---So im in the same boat but I really am tryingto just stay positive and surrender it to the UNIVERS like OPRAH says to do...i laso dropped everything but hey.....it part of the job....just learning how to deal with any situation...so just STOP and get out of your head....remember to breath and if its meants to be at this time in your life IT will.....dont bring any negativity to your surroundings

Im trying to chill its just this has been over a 2month process and I have another job so its hard to just drop everything. Ive been lucky that my current manager is so understanding and she really wants me to get the JOb at MAC (shes like my second mother Ive been workin for her since I was 16!). The only reason I am worried is because the location is brand new and opening soon so they need their team together ASAP. It opens in like 2 weeks so thats why I dont think I got it. they kept repeating how fast theyre moving and this and that but Who knows. And there were alot of questions they did not ask me. but some very key ones they did. I dont know. Theyre going through so much right now with the new location so I am trying to chillax by going to the beach, as long as Im somewhere I get a signal Im good!

So I called Homa today, and I didnt get it. I just feel like it was such a waste of time for me to even do the last interview. I really wanted the job and I am a really hard worker. Im just really sad and Upset.

i really was pulling for you! know this happens alot and when you're ready, do try again! a girl i work with tried 7 times! you never know! did she give any advice or reasons as to why?

The saga continues!!! haha!

So tomorrow I am going to apply to freelance in my area. I mean I am not as pressed to work for MAC as I was since I got my own little thing going after being a bit heartbroken lol. I figure maybe I should give freelancing for them a shot and well it may help me sharpen my skills a bit aaand I think there was an issue with my having 2 jobs before... you know not being able to give full attention to MAC.
