hello has anyone ever worked for sephora? what wa the experience like? and do they pay like mac?

I'm gonna have to bump this because when the new opening for Sephora in my area (just in JCPENNY) I want to land the job.I knew about it for a while, and really thinking about.I went to go to go talk to a Sephora consultant the other day and he told me that that Sephora relies on retail experience, knowledge of products, and personality.Which is good, but I don't have any retail experience, but I'm very knowledgeable in products.He says that's those 3 are a plus and even if you don't have much experience in retail, you have to REALLY prove to them you are good for the job.When I go back up to see him, I'm going to ask more questions or if the ladies or gents here can help out.

great creme.delefemme im glad u found that out! i have an interview on monday and im unsure about pay. Ive worked retail for years and feel pretty knowledgeable about pay rates however im a licensed makeup artist and feel that should raise my pay rate..hhhmmm the lady who is interviewing me also asked me to take some snap shot of some looks i did and bring them in
