Pack your MAC!!! Traveling tutorial
I travel quite a lot (in the last 5 months I've had to take a plane 6 times) and every time I have the nightmare of packing all my MAC so it doesn't break. After living in the UK for almost half a year, tomorrow I'm moving back to Spain...
This system has being effective for me, so I decided to make a tutorial, maybe it will be useful for someone out there!
PACK YOUR MAC!
HERE'S WHAT WE NEED:
* Makeup items
* Cotton balls
* Bubble wrap
* Toilet paper
* Makeup box/ traincase (not pictured)
1. Take your palettes, and put 2 or 3 layers of toilet paper between the lid and the eyeshadows, enough to press them tight but allowing space for the lid to close.
2. Now put them in a bubble wrap envelope, or put bubble wrap around them and secure with tape.
3. For eyeshadow pots, get a piece of cotton ball, mold it flat in your fingers and place between pan and pot lid.
4. Then put it back in its box if you still have it, and wrap in bubble wrap.
5. Pigment jars and vials are pretty safe themselves, so I just wrap them in a few layers of toilet paper to avoid scratches.
6. Now the most important thing: Everything needs to be packed as tight as possible in your box. So make sure you dont waste any spaces! Move your things around until you find the best position for your stuff. Think of it as if you were playing Tetris!!
7. When everything is inside, fill any spaces with cotton balls. Fill in fill in!
8. Put a final layer of bubble wrap on top of everything and... OFF YOU GO! Ready to catch that plane!

do you check or carry on your make up bag? If you carry it, have you ever gotten hassled by the airport secruity people? I checked a bok with presents one time after christmas and they made me open it and go though it.

I always have my makeup as carry on luggage. You're allowed a small suitcase, so I put my makeup box inside around some clothes and I've never had a problem! I got home on Tuesday evening and all my makeup arrived safe
