Hi! I live in the suburbs, technically, so I usually hit up the Oakbrook freestanding MAC, and sometimes I visit the CCO at the Chicago Premium Outlets off Farnsworth and 88.


Any other Windy City area people around?! I'd love to find more shopping buddies!

I want to know about the CCO too. I've never been and I don't even know where it is. Do they usually have a lot of MAC? What are their prices like?

SW Suburbs here. I love shopping at the MAC Store on Oak Street whenever possible. They are so much nicer there then up in Oak Brook.

I visit Chicago quite regularly..and my good friend in Chicago whom I used to MAC shop with has grown out of her make-up obsession..so I'm always down to have a new friend to go make-up shopping with in Chicago.

THEY NEED TO PUT A PRO STORE IN Chicago. I think it's wrong that there isn't one. XD

I'm in Chicago too! I usually go to counters (Marshall Field's and Nordstrom), but I'd like to go to a freestanding store sometime. I'm attending college here, and I miss the freestanding store I used to visit back in St. Louis.

I usually go to one of the counters at Old Orchard Mall, just because one of the MA's who works there is like, the nicest person i've ever met

The girls at the Oak Brook freestanding store are SUPER nice! Don't let their gorgeous, always-perfect-make-up fool you into thinking they're snobs--they're not!

If you're worried, ask for TINA. she is my favorite. she does great make-up AND she's uber cool

.... and the best part is that my new job is only a 1/4 mile from the mall!!! YAY!

as for the CCO's.. there are TWO in illinois. One is near the IL/WI border called Prime Outlets, and one is off of I88 Farnsworth exit called Premium Outlets.

i think it could be a ton of fun to organize a day of shopping or whatever and hit up the CCOs if any of you girls are interested. i LOVE to shop. LOVE LOVE LOVE, and not just for make-up! (although obviously the CCO is my first stop).

Does anyone else go to the MAC parties? It seems like they are calling me every other week with new parties they are holding for new products and what not. I usually go to the Oak Brook parties, but the last one I got invited to was Oak Street. It'd be cool to have someone else to go with.

p.s. a little birdie told me that they are finally going to be bringing a pro store to chicago within the next year

So...is anyone heading out tomorrow to pick up Lure? I'm probably going to head to the counter at Water Tower place. There's a really nice MA there whom I met a couple weeks ago.

I wouldn't mind going to MAC parties.

It would be really cool if all us chicago area girls made a big shopping day where we just hit it all up.

You guys can bug me whenever I work at the Water Tower Counter.
I already met 2 chicas from Specktra. I can spot them easy because they are always at my counter on the 1st day of a new launch.
