Steel Blue pigment question

I bought two samples of Steel Blue pigment from two different sellers on eBay. While I like them both, they are quite different! One is a dark blue, the other is slightly lighter and more teal. The dark blue one also "balls up" more. Both have the same kind of gold glitter. They look visibly different when applied.

Has MAC ever changed their formulation for Steel Blue, or is there another pigment very close to Steel Blue that I don't know about?

My Steel Blue ( bought directly from MAC ) is a dark blue with gold, but looks more teal when applied. It looks very "golden" in the container. It is pretty smooth in texture, not too much balling up. But that does tend to happen with a lot of the frosted pigments. That is the only jar of it I have ever had, so I can't compare it with a different batch.
