When is it best to book a MAC makeover?

(is this in the right place?)

I'm not talking about booking makeovers to try out the new collections etc but just a normal makeover where you can learn a new look and see different colours on you and just be pampered. My counter manager has said i can come in for a free makeover when i like as way of apology to me. I'm really looking forward to having it done as i've never had one before but i can't think of a time when it would be best to have it done. My counter is in a city which i travel to everyday to go to uni which is the only reason i get to visit my counter unless i go there for shopping only once in awhile. So i don't want to book the makeover on a uni day and then just travel back home where i'll just have to take it off and go to sleep after awhile. I'd love to book it before a special occasion but i don't have any planned and even things like before going out somewhere wouldn't work as the counter is so far from places we would go out. I suppose i could just treat it as a lesson in makeup and enjoy it while i'm there but i'd love to make the most of it and wear the look out somewhere nice and get opinions from people etc.

When does everyone else book their makeovers?

IMO the best time is during a weekday morning/afternoon. Nights and weekends are pretty busy and the MA might not be able to give 100% attention. I've noticed that the daytime is alot more calm. HTH!

freakin' hell, they BETTER give you a 150% attention after all that crap you went through!

if you go on a monday-wednesday night, they might be a bit slower.

Yeh i think i'll book it on a morning on a day i have free. It's always lovely and calm there when i go early on a weekday and i have their full attention. Would it be wierd to take my camera and ask her to take pics of the finished look so i can have it for reference?
