Hey gals and guys! I live in KCMO and...well I went to the store at The Plaza last night and was telling one of the MUAs about this site. She was like "There is another girl who comes in here all the time and talks about this site. She knows the new products before I've even heard about them!"

Soo, I know there are more of us around this area. Speak up! I'd love to know I'm not the only addict here in KC

i was there last weekend. i can say that i have never been to a mac store, and i really wish i could.. though my wallet would kill me lol

Do you ever go shopping at the Plaza when you are in town? It's such a neat place. I'll tell you, the ladies at MAC are SO friendly. It's normally really busy but somehow they make time for everyone...I always manage to get in and out quickly. It's definately worth saving up a few extra bucks for a stop there!

i'm from kansas city! i go to the plaza all the time! i'm living in lawrence right now because i go to KU, but i'm only 30 minutes from the plaza. i agree, the ladies at mac on the plaza are fantastic!

I go to the Plaza store all the time, too! The artists are the best! I would love to have a get-together there sometime!

I'm going to the MAC store on the Plaza on Oct 20 to get the new holiday palettes. Yes, I've planned this weeks in advance because I'm so excited about the new palettes!! As pathetic as it sounds, I actually switched shifts at work so that I'd have Oct 20 off so I can get the holiday palettes the first day they come out!

I'm actually planning a pretty big haul.
Anyone else in KC going to pick up the new stuff on Oct 20?

I am in Liberty...about 20 min. from the plaza and I will def. be there on the 20th to get the sets and I still havent gotten the VP's :eek

Who was the girl you were talking to? Was it Amy, the manager? I have been in there and mentioned several things about this site and MUA...I wonder if thats what she was talking about :lol

I am so jealous of you all. I lived in Kansas City my entire life until 2 years ago and now I live in North Carolina because of My husbands job. The funny thing is, I didn't discover my love of MAC until I moved here. I did visit there this summer and went to the Plaza store and was in heaven. By the way, we lived just south of Overland Park in case you were wondering.

I actually went to the store on the Plaza today to pick up some Fluidlines, the rest of the new VPs, a few pigments, and a replacement Purr...I couldn't wait until the 20th!! I talked to the MAs there and they aren't for sure yet if they will have the holiday palettes on Oct 20th. They said they'd find out for sure in a few days, so I'm calling them on Wednesday (Oct 12) to find out when the palettes will be in. I'm planning on being there around 11am or so.

I went in the MAC store on the Plaza today. I learned that all holiday palettes and Ornamentalism will be out on Thursday. They expect it to be a crazy day! They are not doing any preorders.

Wow! It's nice to know that when I move to KC in January there will be other MAC addicts there!

I have lived in texas my whole life and I'm getting married in dec. and moving to KC right afterwards. We are looking at living in Overland Park cause it's where my fiancé stayed over the summer while doing in internship. Right now I know very little about KC so any info would help out! Oh, and if any of you ladies ever wanna meet up and shop at the plaza, I'm totally in.
