i ordered from the website almost as soon as it came up. I got coco pigment and some other stuff. well today I get an emailing saying it was all sent except coco. I DID NOT WANT THE REST OF THE ORDER WITHOUT COCO. I call them and they tell me the direct mail office is closed and there is nothing I can do until Monday. I want to fucking strangle someone right now. I am just about ready to say fuck mac and never buy a single thing ever again.

Hey Chelsea, I hear ya. I am still waiting for the magic phone call saying our stuff is in at the Bay. I have $150 b-day money to spend and I am so tempted to say F*&K it and go blow it somewhere else. I'm getting really fed up with the stupid LE collections that only the elite friends of MA's seem to be able to get ahold of. Grrrrrrr.

I feel for ya,.... I rarely order online unless I have too,.. the 3 stores here usually take a bit to sell out,..(Thank God!) I was still able to easily snag a blacktrack when the frenzy started that they were sold out,...I guess I might classify in the "elite friend" catagory,..but here is the thing,..if they see you in the actual store enough they remember to call you before stuff comes in,.. I never have had anything held or pre-purchased though,...

ouch... that SUCKS ass... why do they do that? i've seen so many other posts here and on lj about orderes being cancelled cos they sold out OR orders being shipped without everything... that SUCKS! i really don't think mac realizes how many of us want the new stuff as soon as it comes out.. they underestimate and don't stock enough.. hmmm.. i'm feeling a letter writing session coming on

To be honest, I usually get called about new stuff coming in, but I'm talking about the people that get it even before it is available to everyone else. It is completely Mac's fault for underestimating the amount of stock they need to keep everyone happy. If it keeps happening, they might lose a heck of a lot of customers and that would be a real shame. I love Mac, but I am getting so frustrated. Everyone is going on about how great Coco is and I am sitting here without it and no sign of getting it anytime soon. Ok, I better step away from the computer before I really go off on a rant.

Okay yeah, write a letter, but they will send other stuff than the beloved Coco pigment!! And if everybody do that, they'll STOP to have a good CS like that, they probably lost a lot of cash when they do that.

I found out that you can order from the counters directly and they charge a flat rate of $5 CAD no matter how much you order to anywhere in Canada. I called the counter in Halifax (that one is closest to me) and ordered all of my D'Bohemia stuff the day before it was released so they pulled it first thing in the morning before the store opened so I was guaranteed to get my order. I also called the store on Bloor Street in Toronto and ordered the deep purple pigment as they are the only store in Canada getting star vegas.

It's much better this way because shipping is cheaper, they will let you pre-order (well the two I called did anyway), you know you will get your stuff and you will probably get your order faster too!

That Sucks!

MAC is not a very popular line here where I live. When a LE comes out, they almost never run out of anything. Sometimes they send stuff back to MAC that didn't sell.
