I see everyone using it so gracefully and blended. help me I look like i've got black eyes

For me the key was using just a VERY small amt. As in I just tap my brush on the e/s and then blend. Then I keep adding e/s as needed using the same amt. I usually blend with a stiff brush at first (I use my 242) and then I soften it up with a softer brush (for this I use my 224). Hope this helps!! =)

I agree with the above, and just make sure any trace of discoloration around the eyes is invisible, or you will look like you've been punched!

tap and blend

Make sure you tap the excess off and blend with a good brush like mac 224 or Sonia Kashuk blending brush. Also dont use alot at first. You can always add more.
