Cut A Paper l/s looks amazing, I'll try to B2M for it. The peachy tartan e/s looks also really pretty but I'm pretty surte these e/s will be expensive here! I see that My Highland Honey blush looks almost identical to Peaches, that saved me some money.
I really like the way Soft Dazzle d/g looks like but I see is a repromote, if anyone knows, is it very gritty?? I really wanna try a pink dazzleglass, never tried one till now, and I had Steppin Out in mind but Soft Dazzle looks very good too, the only problem is that I'll pay full price for Soft Dazzle while for Steppin Out I can get it with discount, don't know what to do!

Am I the only twilight freak who sees Black Swan e/l and automatically thinks of Jacob Black and Bella Swan?
Perhaps if I buy Black Swan I can pretend she chose him instead....

I have Soft Dazzle and I just tried it now to be sure...I don't feel any grit whatsoever. It gives a very pretty shimmery look but is not at all over the top. I'm loving it all over again now, lol.

My list is considerably smaller after Erin's swatches, yay! (5 or 6 items is not bad after my initial reaction to this collection)
I'll go for MBC, althought I'm not sure when I'll have the guts to use it outside (NW 15 here)

I stopped by a counter today to look at this collection. They didn't have everything in yet (the individual items) but they had the brush sets and all the palettes. The Reelers & Rockers palette is BEAUTIFUL. That's all I want and 2 of the liners, maybe a gloss.

I still find it hard to believe that HBC is the blush they used on the promo model ... it looks so much more coral-y on her, hmmmm...
and damn!! I really feared that I might like Sly as a fox, was hoping it would just be another red... but it actually looks interesting!!

don't do it winnie! honestly, the only difference between the two is the finish. peaches is a sheertone, which is why its softer than MHH. but colour-wise, they're identical.

Oh goodness. I was going to just write off Tartan Tale altogether...but. It's GORGEOUS *whimpers*
I truly expected to preview it and not want a thing. Online swatches were just *meh* to me, and for previous holiday collections...well let's just say I thought the eyeshadows were "ok" at best (pigmentation).
But OMG Tartan tale palettes are really smooth,pigmented and gorgeous! The purples palette was the only one that was "meh" to me...the others all had 1-3 e/s I loved. I was especially loving Reelers & Rockers (metallic shades...gold, light goldy bronze, silver and coppery brown + a black) and Dashing Lassie (neutrals w/ sheen)
I refrained and didn't pre-pay for any of them though, because I have similiar-enough colors and...*sigh* just got the UD Naked palette which totally cancels out my need for Dashing Lassie lol. I have the prerogative to change my mind though lol.
The single eyeshadows with the tartan "lines" through them are just as pigmented and smooth. Again I was tempted with the peach one (Follow Your Fantasy), the plummy one (Semi Precious), and the light goldy one (Golden Crown)....but decided I had dupes for them all. Yes I am trying to show restraint lol.
And I also just fell in LOVE with Undercurrent pearlglide el/...OMG it's gorgeous bright teal with gold running through it. SO pigmented. GAH. It was hard to say no, but I did. Because I never use e/l...not even the ones I have, unless they are black and allergy proof (i.e. stila smudgestick lol). I really did not want to part with it *sniffs*
Don't shoot me, I didn't even look at the pigments...I didn't want any more temptation and I hate the mess of loose shadows.
So in the end, I walked away pre-buying two things from Tartan Tale:
"My highland honey" blush....light,peachy,matte,pigmented,smooth...gorgeous..GAH
And "Courting Lilac" lipstick which was a lightish violet/purple with gold in it (so pretty...quite sheer too, not OTT at all)...Swatches/pics I had seen online did not do it justice.
I also bought an empty quad (they're different now: they are magnets and it's easy to take out the case for the pans! Very cool) and Romp eyeshadow. Earlier this week I purchased Patina. I will probably swatch these soon
They didn't have the gift sets out for display yet, they did show me pics tho. I saw one pouch for a gift set and didn't like the material...it felt cheapy to me....especially when I compared it to the little clutch w/ an Estee Lauder gwp out right now (at Nordie's): Now that was gorgeous. eek sorry, that's ot. Anyhow, Just had to share...watch out if you have yet to preview the collection...it's gonna be dangerous lol.
