Is there anyone wanting the mini brush set (or anything that comes with a bag) but not wanting the bag? I'd love to pair up and buy it together. I want a tartan bag but I know I can't afford it right now

I have a quick story to tell you guys.
I love this collection, but $$ is a bit tight right now so of course my list is forever getting wittled down.
The other day I was at my surgeons office (I'm having a tummy tuck in December) and they were apologizing to me for having to cancel my last appt 2 weeks prior with only an hours notice. They never had to do that to a patient before and felt awful about it. They thought for sure when they called me that I would be angry and yell at them on the phone. They were so amazed at how understanding I was that they wanted to thank me. Then she gave me a $25 gift certificate for The Bay (the only department store in Canada that sells MAC!!! ). Before I even told her that I collect MAC, she said to me "maybe you can pick up some makeup. I love MAC, I was just there buying eyeshadow" LOL How cool is that? AND I have a $10 Bay coupon for any purchase over $50 and I can use that at the MAC counter.
Now I can get a couple of goodies!!!

Scottish Fling Mineralize Kit ($59.50) Or
Swinging Violets Mineralize Kit
6 Beauties Play it Cool ($43.50 CAD)

Total $108.15 with tax
with Gift Card and coupon...... $73.15

Boy, that still looks like alot for 2 items (although the kit has 4 items in it I guess).

My Highland Honey Blush ($21.50) is still on my wishlist, but I'll wait to see it.

Haven't posted much since trying to get use to the new layout.. Anyways.. Nothing is really like OMG I NEED that haha. I like the 6 Dashing Lassie palette and maybe a couple pealglides (defnitely Lord It Up). The pigments are nice but I don't use darker colors like that that often. So I don't know

Uh Okay I'll try but I don't think I do such great swatches. In fact I don't know if the swatch will be accurate. I swatched The Family Crest on my hand before bed and it looked very dark, almost black with gold and maybe some other shimmer color flecks. I'm not sure the flecks would really show in a pic.

Went to my usual counter and they had stuff out for preview. So I tried a few things on. I ordered Her Blooming Cheek, but I may or may not keep it. Then I got The Faerie Glen which surprised me because it's hard for me to find nudes. Also ordered Lightly Prancing because I can wear it with anything. And finally, Black Swan because I couldn't NOT order it. Duh.

And that's just proof that either a) they are a member or b) they scope out the board, and maybe blogs as well, to find out what are the most coveted products/collections!

Not sure if this has been mentioned before... but I just got to preview the collection and what really shocked me was the giant packaging. The brush bags and the mineralize tins are HUGE. Like absolutely GIGANTIC. I assumed the mineralize tins would be like a pencil case size but they're waaaay bigger than that. Now I want them even more knowing I could cram so much stuff into them.
