MAC - Holiday 2010 A Tartan Tale Discussion

I just ordered a few additional things online and got the free with $75 purchase "A Tartan Tale" holiday book, so cool. I'm lamely really excited about that!

To avoid the cat-stealing/humping/biting/humping some more issue I decided on the mini Sir Teddy with the clip. I'll be attaching it to my train case where the long shoulder strap clips on and I might get a few more for stocking stuffers. He's SO adorable!

The Mineralize Kits are US exlusive. For you International girls, you can always call and ask if your country is getting them.

these are not US exclusive.

these are MSO. there will be select distribution internationally.



there is another mineralize tin that is nordies/the bay exclusive. and this too has select international distribution.



nothing in this collection is US exclusive.

Gosh I just saw that TT was released online for Canada and you got the book with the pictures with a $90 purchase! As a photographer, Mac lover and of Scottish blood I want this so bad! I bet it's online only though and I convinced my mom to buy stuff from this collection as my b-day gift. *Sigh*

Just put my order in! I was so tempted by the play it cool palette but I know it will end up unused in the bottom of a makeup drawer so I held off.

I got cut a caper because I loved ever hip but wished it was a bit sheerer.

I debated back and forth after differing opinions on the brush sets because I don't have any MAC brushes. I decided that I'll just start buying one real brush everytime I haul at MAC. This time I chose the 187.

And after I put in my info they added like 10 items into my cart from when I was pretend shopping awhile ago...glad I scrolled down and double checked, lol. I removed everything except for Jealous lipglass...I figure if it's still on my mind then I should just get it.

Can't wait for box day!

petrol blue is gorgeous. undercurrent is sexy mermaid in a stick. you definately need undercurrent.

I just placed my order for this collection - I was so chuffed to see it online! I ordered Play It Cool, Reelers & Rockers (as a last-minute impulse, I won't lie ), Cut A Caper and My Highland Honey... I'll probably also order two of the pigment collections (Smoky and Cool Thrillseekers) next week if they're launched online. I've never bought any of the pigment sets before... is there anything I should know about them? Is it easy to lose/spill them? TIA!

I'm finally started to get excited for this collection! I see it up online now, but I want to see it all in person before I buy anything. I am going to be at the MAC store as soon as they open on Thursday!

How does Courting Lilac compare to Lavender Whip? I just got that one and I love it but I don't really need anything too similar to it.

Otherwise, I am pretty sure about getting:

Gone Romancin' DGC
Moonlight Night and A Family Crest pigments
Viva Glam lip bag

I'll take a look at everything else and will probably come out with a bit more than that! Probably a liner and lipstick, I am not too sure about the eyeshadows yet. Can't wait to see the swatches come pouring in.

I just made my order online! I was going to go into the counter on Thursday, but I saw that you could get the holiday book online and heck, I already knew what I was going to get. I got:
- 6 Dashing Lassies Palette
- The Faerie Glen
- Her Blooming Cheek
- Sir Teddy

I can't wait for it all to come in sometime next week!

If I love The Faerie Glen then I am going to go to the counter and B2M for a backup.
