oo, now I am interested: another MAC counter in Vienna?? where where where? (of course I am not in Vienna right now - they are selling it tomorrow?? darn!!!)

OT but I've been wondering as I am a tad newer to the MAC cosmetics...I've seen the words "US exclusive" floating around a bit and I have wanted to know just how much stuff have they had that's exclusive to US? I mean the company is a Canadian one so I guess I wouldn't imagine them giving too many exclusives ... ?! ?!

Off the top of my head, I can't think of anything that was literally a US only product- anything launched in the US is generally at least North American, although sometimes "North America" includes only the US and Canada. There are products that are limited to specific markets- the Nordstrom and Bay collections are only available at counters in those stores and there are usually a couple of collections/ partial collections each year that fall into this category. I understood that the mineralize kits were one of those- only at The Bay and Nordstrom, not at any MAC stores (aka freestanding stores).

And on a side note, even if it's true, that MA shouldn't have told you that the employees claimed all the Teddys. Looks terrible if you're telling a customer they can't have something because an employee got first dibs. I used to work retail and it would make me mental when I heard people say this kind of thing (again, even when it's true).

This is exactly what happened to me last year. I wanted the bags for the brushes, but just couldn't justify paying for those brushes. Sigh...

I got a call from MAC today confirming that they have my stuff on hold, but that I have to come get it tomorrow (like there was any doubt). What worried me was that I basically had to coax the items that I had on hold out of her. At first she said one item, I told her it was two, she said yes, it was "Reelers & Rockers and a brush set"... No... "Oh wait, Reelers & Rockers and another eye set"... Sad thing is, I know why she's confused, because when I saw the list, they'd run out of space and they were connecting names to orders by arrows... I'm just hoping nothing sells out, so whatever they think I have on hold, I'll be able to get what I actually want. Plus, of course, everything I want from the colour collection.

Well...I'm stoked to pick up my goodies tomorrow, but now I am having 2nd thoughts- whether I should get the Play it Cool palette in place of or in addition to the Reelers & Rockers and Dashing Lassie palettes that I've already pre-ordered. I really don't want to end up w/ 3 palettes and I already have a lot of neutral in my collection, but I don't remember thinking PIC was that unique.

Also, wondering if I should grab Moonlight Night...I guess worst case scenario is I could always sell it, right?

haha i love this collection so far i have been playing with it for 2 weeks now. the faerie glen lip stick is a must so is lightly prancing dazzleglass creme i love the pigments. i took home samples of them yesterday after work. her blooming cheek and highland honey r a must as well as undercurrent and lord it up pearlglide intense eye liner
