I got my black box today with my pearlglides, sir Teddy and the lip set with baron's rose. I seriously love that lipstick so much that I want to buy another! The lip liner is much more appealing to me now also in natural light. I wish it was full size. I feel so lazy, but I want to go to my local Mac store to buy courting lilac and going romancin. I feel like I need to give them a go on my lips because I really want some colors like that.

A girl after my own heart! lol teasing of course! but I'm totally with you on the lilac kick... not to be an enabler or anything (o0o why lie .. !) but I think you should
defo try Gone Romancin' rools: .. esp if you don't have anything like it similar in your own personal collection, like myself. Courting Lilac is pretty but didn't satisfy my need
for lilac.. so that's kinda misleading considering the name! But defo worth checking out for yourself

I get to go pick up my haul on lunch. I'm excited to wear Black Swan as soon as I get back because it'll go nicely with today's look. At first, I was concerned about it being blue, but when I saw it in person it was clearly an almost-black (gunmetalish) with silver sparkle instead of gold like in Blackline. I might swatch Petrol Blue on my hand because I don't own any dark blue liners. If I'm going to, it may as well be that one.

Back from MAC.

Now that I had the display to myself, I have to say, I was a little underwhelmed. Oh well- more money for other stuff.

I only remembered to bring one set of B2M stuff, so I'll send the other one in online to get my second backup of TFG.

Didn't get Black Swan (had the MA try it on me) and it didn't irritate, oddly enough. I'll probably go get it next week or order online next week. It looks amazing with Later.

They didn't have Sir Teddy

(store exclusive?) so I reserved one at the store and I'll go pick it up tomorrow since I have classes today.

But... something else jumped into my bag....

! You guys were right- this color is incredible. Seriously. I don't have anything like it and I've never seen anything like it- it's SO awesome! I was considering Sly as a Fox, too, but it really didn't do anything for me.

Now I just have to pick up Sir Teddy, send in my B2M set, and get my sets in Nov and I'll be done. It still feels like a lot to do.

BTW- I forgot to ask when I went, but are the sets still the 4th or the 11th?

I'm confused.

So, after I ordered Black Swan, Family Crest & HBC I went to MAC today & bought:

Courting Lilac b2m - Gorgeous Plummy Lavender on!!! Loves it
Cut A Caper b2m - its like Toxic Tales baby sister - very light coral peach & its beautiful on

Petrol Blue
Lord It Up
Moonlight Night piggie

I loved TFG - but on me, it turned a greyish nude

so I passed. It must be the mauvey purple undertones to my lips that turned it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE HBC - its soooo gorgeous - sheered out

I also liked & still debating about MHH. I took my peaches blush with me & it was not like peaches at all. MHH is a much paler yellowed very light peach. In comparison, Peaches has more coral to it.It was pretty on me. I think it would have been more wearable had they added some pretty soft subtle shimmer to it. Its very matte.

I loved the middle color in the pink lip trio - but not the other 2

I need that middle color in a lipstick - now

And, if you have the mineral eye shadow trio in Blue My Mind - Moonlight Night pigment looks

over the middle strip color!

I never got the booklet with my order.

I guess they didn't think about it since it was a phone order, oh well.

I just called MAC and told them I placed an online order and wanted to be sure I got my book. She told me I ordered too early (before the book dealy thing came out) but that they would send it to me! We'll see......

Good one! I did not think of diarrhea but said I was going to my bank which they know is kinda far away!

When I got to Macy's, they were still opening boxes so I did not get to see it all but I got the Violet My Love Lash & Line set! SOOOO FRIGGIN CUTE!!!! I also got radiant jewels dazzleglass. It's a beautiful color. And I got A Lady & Her Tricks brush set. I wanted it from the start and even with all the talk at Temptalia - I decided to give it a try. My MA said she thought they were nice brushes.

oh, the brush sets I thought for the price felt & looked amazing! At least the display ones (just like the ones at Nordies last weekend) were very full soft & thick - nice.

yes, Barons Rose is beautiful & everyday wearable imo. There was this adorable woc (college student) that popped in just to get foundation while I was at the MAC counter today, but she spent the whole time with me looking at TT . OMG she was so sweet to me. She loved everything swatched on my hand. So, I told her about Barons Rose, swatched it on my hand - she bought it

When she left, she said she hoped to see me at this counter again

I'm NC20 and wondering how Cut a Caper and The Faerie Glen will look on me especially faerie. Nudes scare me! They usually pull too orange or brown on me.

Ok, I decided I HAVE to buy one of these brush sets

I'm thinking the one with the 187. I have all of the other brushes but:
a) I'd love a backup of the 168
b) one can never have enough eyeliner brushes
c) my 252 is quite scratchy, hopefully this one is a little softer

I also like the other two, especially the blue bag (anyone trying to get rid of that?) but I don't need the brushes in that set. The one with the foundation brush looks awesome too but I don't use liquid foundation and I already have a 212 that I never used. I could do with a 129 backup though, and I'd love to try the 227. Maybe I'll buy these separately.

Of course I have to see them/touch them in store first, but if they feel good to me I'm going to buy them

I totally agree about the prices, but I am in love with the "gone Romancin'" Dazzleglass. :sad: I think my hubby will kill me if i Buy another though. I have enough, I just need to keep telling myself.

Well, this one I don't think will turn orange on you & I don't think it will turn brown either. This one really depends on your natural lip color. On my hand it was a very pretty pink based neutral nude, but on my lips it looked different. I only tried it on my lips because I was the first one there & it was still a virgin

It is pretty. My MA is a WOC & she was wearing it - it looked amazing on her.

actually the dazzle the lads lip bag is the one thing I would get if I could only get one thing. I looove lipsticks, I loved the names and descriptions of it from the beginning, I loved the first swatches and the newest swatches I saw even more!!!

Did you try building up TFG? I have pretty pigmented lips, definitely more so than Temptalia's and it works on me. Just got TFG and HBC blush. In love!

I can't wait to try this on the lips. The tester I saw a while back was already in nasty condition and there was no way in hell I was even touching the tube.

I'm hoping it looks more nude-pink on my lips...we'll see!

I've never liked a nail polish this much.

I love it when I go to check out a collection and something that wasn't even on my radar becomes a favorite. It's always such a nice surprise.

I have like 150 polishes. Not joking, haven't counted lately (and I'm still waiting for my burlesque OPIs) but more than 100 for sure.
I was so proud of myself, I decided there were no polishes I needed in this collection. The mini-kit was hard but I was going strong.

Please don't tell me I need another red polish, I have a dozen. How special can this be?
