Please don't tell me I need another red polish, I have a dozen. How special can this be?
No, no, I don't want it
Style Clan is the brown one. Very unique.

I have only one brownish/taupe polish because of course I was sucked in by the trend. It's OPI over the taupe, I even bought it at Selfridges for waaaay more than I usually spend for an OPI.
I used it once

Yes, I know I said temptalias review turned me off the brush sets, but I'm kind of back in love. I mean I really want every single one of these brushes. And I don't expect the 187se to be as good as the 187 I paid 38 dollars for. I feel brave
tong.gif
I've touched the se brushes that came out with the fabulous felines and they felt normal to me. I also have two se brushes(angled eye brush and lip brush) and they work for me, but with that said I've never used a brush set before.
(my bolding)

That's because the brushes that came out with Fabulous Feelines were normal quality brushes. Those were SH brushes - short handle. Full price, full quality. These are SE - special edition - lower price, lower quality.

As long as they're available in the store I'll get:

Hark the heraldry kit
happily ever after lip kit
A lady and her tricks brush set

I just wanted to tell you that I bought a brush set from last year's holiday collection and I love them!

Did anyone pick up or take a peek at Play it Cool e/s palette or the Mineralized Kits? I keep going back and forth on those. The Canadian price tag is a tough pill to swallow. Courting Lilac is def on my must have list.

Stay away then because I normally hate browns and neutrals, too. This one will suck you in. Trust me.

i brought brush sets in 2007, and they are still in really good nick, and i use them all regularly, so im all for brush sets

I am on my way back home from mac. I bought courting lilac but left romancin because on it's own it seemed to sheer and with CL it just looked off to me. I decided to buy my highland honey blush after seeing a review on the site that shall not be mentioned. For some reason it swatched better this time than ever before. Oh and all of my buddies can start whistling now because I caved and bought moonlight night. I asked the mua about the comparison to deep blue green just for fun and she didn't know what I was talking about. LOL

Anyway. I also went to sephora and found the new nars gloss Downtown is comparable to gone romancin' but it's better. I'm getting that. Also, ysl has a new lipstick in a hot gorgeous orange that is comparable to toxic tale. That's next on my list. I bought a touche eclat and got the hell out of there. I am broke, but happy. LOL

I can't wait to try this on the lips. The tester I saw a while back was already in nasty condition and there was no way in hell I was even touching the tube.

I'm hoping it looks more nude-pink on my lips...we'll see!

Wow. I guess that chick really wanted to know if it was a pattern going all the way through. I honestly wouldn't care. The pattern doesn't seem to make a difference in the color from what I can see.

I picked up Courting Lilac, Gone Romancin', Undercurrent and Later today. I decided to skip the palettes as I'm waiting for the chapter 2 sets. I thought Enviably Fun es was so pretty. I might go back for that one!

Picked up my haul! I decided to pick up Petrol Blue after all. I've been recently interested in some kind of bright, dark, glittery blue and it's just lovely. So now I have that, Black Swan, Faerie Glen, and Lightly Prancing.

I looked at the Play It Cool pallete which had a really interesting light gray with gold pearl, but I passed anyway.

Whatever the mineralize shadow duo is in the one gift set...with the gray and plum...that one is quite pretty. Pity I just want that and not the entire set. Kinda defeats the purpose, you know?

I was actually really tempted by Lightly Prancing. The only thing that stopped me from picking it up was my dislike of dazzleglass cremes. Otherwise, that baby would have been mine!

I just got back from Mac and I'm so happy that I didn't let really listen to Temptalia's reviews. The brushes are so soft! I have the eye set from last year and the eye set this year feels nicer. I also ended up with the Twists of Tartan palette. This wasn't even on my radar, but it really surprised me when I saw it in person. The MUA put Moonlight Night on my hand and swirled in Undercurrent and the result was amazing.

Picked up my stuff from Chapter One!
I got
Beauties Play It Cool
Lord It Up
Style Clan

I had a mildly crap experience in the store. I really don't like my local mac. There's a mac counter near me too, but the freestanding store is closer to school.
They totally messed up my pre-order, the girl was totally clueless, and she was a manager. Then she started scolding the other girl who was working. It was super uncomfortable.

Also, an employee of the store who wasn't working came in while I was waiting to be rung out, and the other store employees completely stopped acknowledging me and she got rung out first. It was really irritating. And this happened BEFORE I realized my order was wrong.

Alright, I got a problem here. Courting Lilac is a bust. It shows up as some shimmery nude only pigmented lips. Also, I swatched DBG next to MN and I prefer DBG. MN is more sparkly, but not as vibrant on me. I may try it in a look before I pass it along. Courting Lilac, however is getting passed to a friend ASAP. My Highland Honey is great, though.

I cannot believe she cut up that eyeshadow though! Makeup mutilation
shockt.gif
Makes me almost nauseous! Temptalia posted that picture that clearly showed they didn't go all the way through and it didn't even look like she had to use much of the product to prove that.

So. I ran to a mac counter that's closest to me but I'd never been to before... It felt like I was on the road forever though because I left the house and forgot my empties
th_rolleye0014.gif
which was the whole reason I was going in the first place--to b2m for TFG.

I don't really like when I don't know the MAs, it makes me nervous
th_crazy.gif
but 2/3 seemed really nice. After my order on Tuesday, I also picked up:

TFG (my first b2m!)
Black Line
Dazzle the Lads Lip Kit--Baron's Rose! Yes!
th_DANCE.gif

I'm so happy that I got one of the bags... I have to say though that I loved the brush bags and I might be asking for a set as a gift if they stick around long enough. I didn't test the quality of the brushes for myself and wish I would have.

I looked at the Family Crest and Twists of Tartan in person (two of the things I ordered online). TFC looks really interesting but still not sure if it blows me away so I'll see if I end up keeping it. I was very happy with the ToT pigmentation so glad I got that (kind of an impluse add to my cart).

I saw that Glamora Castle, My Highland Honey and Black Swan were not on the display. I almost bought Gone Romancin' but I showed some serious will power and decided against it. As I also did with Semi-Precious though I thought swatched it was GORGEOUS
th_drool.gif

So to sum up, still got my eye on Gone Romancin and Semi-Precious... My final haul includes:

Glamora Castle
Twists of Tartan
The Family Crest
Undercurrent
Blackline
The Faerie Glen
Dazzle the Lads Lip Kit

Loooovee new makeup!

My sister and I were laughing on the way out because I said I was glad I didn't have to bring up page 95 when exchanging my empties because the MA that I dealt with was the more intimidating one of the bunch. "Yeah, didn't want to have to tell her to turn to page 95"
