The way it looks on your lips in this picture reminds me of my Chanel Aqualumiere Gloss in Diamond Rose, but it's slightly more purple

Unfortunately my eyelids are really kind of small and also quite hooded, so these gorgeous pigments probably would never show properly anyway...

Those pigments look gorgeous on you!Oh and here's yet another swatch of Moonlight Night (left) and The Family Crest (right) on my arm used wet with a primer (nautral light)
Moonlight Night looks a little different on the eye though, as I discovered today when I used it all over my lid:

Yesterday I went to pick up my goodies and the entire collection looks so amazing!!!! I didn't get any of the palettes since I'm unsure if I want to get them this year. I'm so after Vain & Glorious Lip Bag as well as Her Highland Honey blush. What I ended up with:

I'm loving this collection!! I'm thinking about backing up Undercurrent again and Black Swan. Possibly, I might backup The Faerie Glen since it does look so pretty!

I stopped at the Macy's counter at the Concord Mall and got Lord It Up and Moonlight Night pigment---they only had ONE jar left when I picked this up.....YIKES!!! Talk about timing......They also gave me a TARTAN bag, which I'm gonna just tuck away....it's too pretty to use!!

I think that when I get rid of the Play It Cool Palette, I'm going to pick up Glamora Castle. I swatched it and I REALLY liked it, but I didn't think I would need another grey shadow since I was getting the PIC palette.
What does everyone think about GC?
Also - I bought in the store and I did not get a plaid bag!! What the hell, I'm definitely not going back to that store again. I'm gonna go to the counter up north instead.

I tried it. The artist sprayed my face down with fix+ before applying. A few good swipes on my cheeks and nothing really showed up. I like to rub blushes in my hand to see what type of dimension they have. MHH was ashen and chalky on the hand. It blended, but didn't show up well on my cheeks.
I tested the shadows, all of them and none of them turned out to be rich and pigmented like MAC shadows are. I never felt so meh about a MAC launch. I guess there's a first time for everything.

Black Swan pearlglide x's 2, Undercurrent pearlglide x's 2, Passing Fancy dg, twists of tartan and 6 beauties palettes, Dazzle the Lads lip bag and Sir Teddy.

Just got back from my MAC counter. So not impressed with Play it Cool palette. That was a big disappointment since that was what I was so excited about. Very little pigmentation and the darker colors swatched grey/black on me instead of purple.
I also wanted to check out the mineralized kits, mainly Scottish fling, but the counter only received Swinging Violets. Didn't catch my eye enough to put down $58 for it.
BUT I did end up with Courting Lilac l/s and Gone Romancing. Really looking forward to trying these. I even brought my Sephora purple lipsticks with me to make sure they were very different. They were! The Sephora ones I have (Attitude Star lipsticks in #10 Mauve Scandal and #11 Audacious Violet) tend to turn rose colored on me. I put swatches of those on my hand and then the Courting Lilac beside to compare. CL stayed lilac, no rose pulled through, so I'm really hoping I see the difference on my lips too.
Oh and I was looking for a purple e/s since I wasn't getting the Play it Cool Palette, so I ended up with Vile Violet from VV collection. I have the same problem as you with purple colored lippies turning more rose colored on me! Unfortunately, I personally ended up having the same problem with Courting Lilac
On the other hand Gone Romancin' was a total hit for me so I guess it's trial and error (I'm newer to MAC so I'm still figuring this out haha!) I don't know what kind of purple e/s
you're looking for but my personal fave is Beautiful Iris and I think it fits the bill for your description.. if you're looking for a lighter purple of course

I used Moonlight Night in a smokey eye with Carbon and She Who Dares MES.
I don't think this collection is stellar (packaging aside), but there were some great individual pieces.
