Also, for you Chanel lovers - I bought the new Splash liquid eyeshadow (holiday 2010) today and put Moonlight Night pigment over it - OHMYGOODNESS can we say Gorgeous! It made it so intensely smokey beautiful!

Oooohh, I will have to try this when I pick up my pigments! I've been having a lot of fun trying various things over Splash.

I may buy one other thing as a Christmas gift -- the Viva Glam set. I already have the gloss and lippie, but they would suit my no makeup-wearing mother when she wants to wear a little something.

Yeah, so I did take back my Glamora Castle and Radient Jewels.....definately dupable with stuff I already had. So, I got the LATER pigment and some stuff from the PERM line (Bombshell l/s and Handwritten e/s refill) and did ANOTHER B2M for The Faerie Glen......that makes THREE tubes for me.......i'm addicted to it!!

Oh this is SO pretty.....never thought to use the p/g as a base.....hmm, maybe something like this instead of my harlequin mask for handing out candy tonight???

I've only purchased one MAC product in my life haha. Never got into it cuz it's not easily accessible to me but this collection is so cute and I love tartan! I don't *need* anything but I think I might order the Vain and Glorious lip bag and that cute little Sir Teddy keychain thing since it's for a good cause.

You should totally get V&G! I'm loving my V&G lip set.. Mellow mood is the perfect color for just about anyone I think.. (My friend is who is around NC-NW 40, it didn't show up quite as well on her lips)
Baby sparks is great too! This and Gone Romancin' were my first dazzleglasses ever and I really love them both.
Never got lip liner from MAC before either and I was really impressed with In Synch one included... I found it perfect under the Mellow Mood if you blend it into your lips (also great with Viva Glam Gaga) I use my bag as a change/coupons/cards holder for my purse

Do pearlglides crease when used as a base? I have noticed Mac eye kohls creasing on me (on top of Too Faced Shadow Insurance) and I'm so bummed about it, I want to use my Tarnish as a base for greens! If p/g perform better I have to try those. It could be different on each person of course, but I'm still interested to try it.

The collection comes out November 11 (Thursday) so it should go online the 9th (Tuesday) unless things are different with these holiday collections...

Is there a comparison pic for BPIC and the Sorceress palette from last year? They look alot alike in pics and I am trying to decide if I need to get one if I have the other. Thanks!

Btw.. anyone knows the total amount of products we get from the small pigments set? Just trying to calculate if we get more value from the pigments sets compare to the single pigment..

That's all I used!!! The lighting wasn't the best, so you're just seeing lighting shadows

I did end up using Melon as a highlight afterwards because I was all about the sparkles last night, but I didn't have it on yet in this pic, and even when I put it on I barely blended and used a light hand

MN has such depth on its own that I really felt I didn't need to use anything else!!

I wasn't going to pick up anything from this collection, but I thought the e/l's were nice and the e/s were nice and I could play them up.

I got "Black Line" e/l which is EXACTLY the pencil of "Desires and Devices".... Ugh! They all have a really nice texture to them.

The e/s are a bit chalky, but work well on top of paint. However, I was steaming that only the palettes come in the special packaging. Arg! Wish they were more wintery punchy- like a nice rich blue- and not as springy as some others have mentioned.

Overall, I feel this collection is a bit cheap looking and been done before. It needs more originality.

I don't think they are allowed. Maybe your MA took Sir Teddy out from the box to check if he's OK, then, forgot to put him back in?

Well, I'm glad you'll get a new one with a box.
