Hmm could the blog post about the WW items be a joke if the packaging is bogus too? The whole blog post has a sarcastic tone to it and the blogger is making jokes about "meeting the highest authorities of the cosmetic world" and "beauty bloggers who get free stuff from Mac" and so on.. I don't know this blog/blogger so can't say for sure but who would go through that much trouble for a joke?

no it's not a joke the palette is a real one and the gloss too, even if i understand that the gloss is so big that it seems to be a joke. In fact i don't like it cause it's too big for a non super woman

For a collection based off of a comic book cartoon, I think the packaging (if it is the real packaging) is bright and fun. I already love everything I've seen so far, especially the blue brushes.

Still on the fence about the palette though. I kind of like the combo (and yes, it does look like Tone Grey). But that blue looks suspiciously like Deep Truth. If it is, I'd boycott that palette just cause MAC is repromoting Deep Truth again for the thousandth time.

The brush bag is great! I just wish the red packaging was clear or less cartooney. What brushes are those? looks like a 224 maybe a 116 and ...?

thanks. I confirm to caramel_geek that there's "deep truth" in the lady's justice palette (again and again).

About the gloss the tip is really enormous and it's not easy to use . So this gloss is fun but not convenient.

Do you think the WW gloss you got is similar to Cyndi l/g in shade? I was hoping it'd be a little more brighter and truer red.

What's going on with Mac and the huge packaging? Are they compensating for the new pigment jars by making everything else bigger? We've already seen bigger MES (VV), blushes (ombres), eyeshadows (TT&Peacocky) and now they moved to lipglasses

I don't think it's a joke -- but I certainly don't see any of the products as being released... they might be prototypes and someone in their huge anxiety to blog, actually paid for them? !! oh well... PT Barnum said it best... there's a ..... born every minute.

I never got the Tone Grey quad, although I thought it would have suited me, so maybe I'll get this one instead. I'll assume the packaging is some sort of mock-up, so I won't just it based on that. I will say that I hate it when they lay the pallets out like that- four in a row rather than two and two. I don't depot and I like to be able to stack all my palettes. The lip gloss looks like a somewhat brighter version of Cult of Cherry... Does nothing for me. And the bag looks exactly like the ones they give away for free at one of the cosmetic shops I go to, so to me it seems cheap. This stuff is very preliminary, if it's final at all, so I'm going to wait it out before I decide to get excited or turn up my nose.
