Peregrina dupe could be Smashbox's Splendid... I have been rummaging among my tubes.. lol

Espiegle -- very dupeable with NARS Sex Appeal... they look almost identical.

Since I have both of the dupes, I am skipping any purchases now as I am buying some property in Italy, and mu is the last thing I will be purchasing for awhile -- I have enough to last me three life times

Splendid is a ls -- not a gloss. You probably have it -- when I saw Peregrina, it flashed before me .. lol.

As far as hanging in Milan, I would love it..but you have to wear the pink pants or it's a no go

Speaking of which, a dear friend sent me for xmas, three pairs of capris -- one in the same colour or almost as my bag lady is wearing, one in mandarin orange, and one in lime green.. she makes them for a big name designer.. and sent me some pre resort stuff.

Now you know one of the reasons I am half time moving over seas..

Elegant, that is too funny about the cat and dog! I'm glad you had an amazing time with your son and DIL.

So far we've only baked a couple batches of short-bread cookies (with chocolate drizzle) and an apple pie. I wanted to bake some chocolate chip cookies tomorrow and more short bread for our Armenian Christmas dinner (our Christmas is on the 6th, but we have the dinner and open presents on the 1st). The kids also helped me with the cranberry sauce!

Thanks for the pics, Peregrina has jumped into my list now. Karla says the lippies are perm. She also says that the blush and quad are US only! Bummer, I want the blush! Those of you who purchased the blush and quad already, is the blush number 65 and quad 20? This is because Sabrina @ thebeautylookbook has uploaded images from a japanese magazine, which has the blush and quad.

My JC is #65, but I didn't get the quad so can't confirm that one. I'm sure you'll get the quad too because we've seen it so many times in the round pan form in pics. I think either Karla or her MA might have misunderstood - maybe the US formula of these products is US only? The blush also looked baked to me in early pics.

You might want to replace that pic you hotlinked with a link to Sabrina's blog instead because she's talked about that before and she specifically says this at the end of the entry that particular pic appears in:

"Please do not republish these on message boards, blogs, websites or anywhere else as it took me some time to scan each in and format them to fit this blog. Thank you."

Elegant, I love the pics of Peregrina - I think I may have to pick that up. I just ordered the 2 eye shadow palettes, the JC, and Black Pearl......I can't wait to receive them! I decided to hold off on the lipsticks until I can swatch them - they usually look prettier in the tubes than they do on my lips.

Did everyone enjoy their holidays? Any big plans for New Year's?

Excessive on the left - Flamboyante on the right. ^ that swatch pic is pretty color accurate.

Excessive is a deeper blue red - Flamboyante is a sheer light strawberry red with very slight coral undertones

^^ Thanks for the swatches and article in the mag! How close are Flamboyante and Cambon? Cambon has some bronze/coral undertone too.

Hello! Hope you love your new goodies that are coming! I have no plans for New Year. I woke up in the middle of the night yesterday and I was thinking what I should do on New Year's eve. lol

Miss QQ, I thought I recalled seeing the quad with the baked pans, if so, it'll be available for us also.

Elegant, I've got lots of cookies left, so if you wanna make your way over here, ya know, we're just on the other side of the lake and then a bit of a drive, that's all! We ended up ordering an entire dining room set yesterday, the table, chairs and buffet. Both our parents wanted to help out with the purchase as a house warming gift, so that definitely made it a bit easier!

We could load up the sleigh & just come across the lake (hmm is it frozen enough). Seriously, I would love to do that. What a very nice gift!!!

I have taken quite a few pics of my loot, but my camera is dead and of course, I can't find the charger. I will work on that! I hope everyone has a great New Year's. We're getting together with family -- nothing too exciting (I am getting too old to want to stay up way past midnight anymore!).

Michele.......hi!!! I will definitely post a 'report' of my haul. I've been MIA with holidays and work, and haven't had much opportunity to play in my makeup, but I'm saddling up again. I ended up with a very pretty Christmas Eve look for church - I used Taupe/Delicat (one of my faves) and rather than focusing on the crease with the Taupe, I used it on the outer corners in the traditional 'v' shape and blended it over to the center of my lid - it was so pretty. I paired it with The Perfect Cheek blush and one of my 'redder' glossimers.....I should have taken a pic, but my battery was dead too.......

Miss QQ, you should have a party! But I have to say I'm with Michele - I don't stay up too too late anymore......I love to sleep!

Thanks for the additional pics, Elegant - I'm sorta digging Flamboyante now - looks like a perfect more subdued red, which I always love!
