how do you find the quality if these brushes compared to the full sized one? i'm planning to get the "sweet me off my feet" set but i'm still waiting for it to be launched here in saudi arabia.

The quality of these brushes are nothing like the original full sized ones. They are not as soft and very scratchy.

in case it hasn't been mentioned yet, the shadows are 14.50 on nordstrom's website. i caved and got them all but the green one.
(5$ shipping for orders over 50$ with the code BEAUTY, too. and if you use ebates, 5% cash back. tee hee!)

i still love the coral lassies lipglass set. i might have to get another one of those as i am a coral fiend.

The eye shadows are only 14.50 on MAC's site too! Guess they didn't sell as well as they thought. I got two when the collection came out, but it's tempting to grab another...

well it had to happen.. it's simple econ 101.. supply and demand. Too many collections, higher prices and not really the stuff that makes legend.. so, it gets cut down until it's sold out or cco'd.

My local Nordstroms slashed prices on the shadows and I still don't want them. I love the Tartan and Play It Cool palettes, but those single shadows can stay where they are. They couldn't give them to me. Just disappointing.

I wanted to replace my lost Gone Romancin' but am trying not to buy anymore in my champale/peacocky haul. So should I wait a while? How long do you think it will be available?

Argh. I lost my TFC pigment, so I went out and bought a new one (they're still everywhere, despite the fact that it's the one thing that's sold out on the CDN web site). Today, I found the original. So I'm never going to need anything that looks like this again...

Everything is still the same price on the Canadian site, by the way... How come we don't get deals? There are still stores that have bits and pieces from Fabulous Felines and Venomous Villains. I see no reason why they shouldn't be able to mark these things down. We're not talking about a whole collection here (although for the holidays, I think only the gloss sets sold out), I'm talking about stray pieces that didn't sell.

I don't know if you recall how the recession was in 2009 -- MAC held a few "Sales" with 20% off -- now that was the time to load up on brushes, and perm line items... now, they have reduced quantity production in order to avoid the "Sales" stickers which is not really good for the cosmetics industry's nutty image.

I hate that Mac did those sales when either I didn't have money or I couldn't think of a thing I wanted. If they had that sale now, I'd go to town.

The Canadian site does have the shadows marked down to $17.50 and they sent an email about it last week but they're still not selling. I don't know if they're marked down in stores though.

They had to pull this off display to make way for the new collections but my store and counter haven't sold out of anything at all. The Bay put up a special display away from the MAC counter to try to lure Boxing Day shoppers but the prices aren't marked down and all Canadians want at this time of year is a great deal.

To me, it would make more sense to have occasional local clearance sales than to ship everything back to Ontario for the warehouse sale.

I got the pink blush trio for xmas and i was really disapointed in the top two blushes, maybe its just my blah winter skin but they looked flat and dull. I absolutely adore the beauty powder thou. If it wasn't for that i would have sold it.

I just realized this morning that I am about halfway through my Black Swan liner. I have one backup. I wish I had bought a few more. Maybe I can find one or two at a local store. It's all I've been using on my upper lashline.
