I have a funny story about today's release. I was at work this morning and at around 11:00, I remembered that this collection was releasing today. I thought it was going to be the usual mid morning release (around 10:00) so I was stoked that it was only 11:00, I was surely gonna get everything I wanted. I am a nurse and at work we are not supposed to have cell phones but I used the internet on my cell today because shopping sites are blocked at work. When it finally came up on my internet, I saw that Sur was sold out. I freaked out knowing I had to hurry if I was going to get anything from this collection (since Sur was sold out and at this point I could not tell what else was). So what do I do? I run to the bathroom and I wait and wait for the internet pages to load. Now, can you imagine at a gastroenterology office what people must be thinking when they hear someone in the bathroom shouting "come on baby, come on". Well, in the end I did not get Sur or Siahi, but I did get Mehr and Ivy which I am ok with.
So now, I guess everytime MAC has a limited release like this one, I will just head on to the loo.

I'll definitely be swatching these side by side when I check out the collection (assuming that my store even has it). Red Brick never particularly appealed to me, since I couldn't figure out what I'd do with it if I did have it. On top of that, I just bought Follow Your Fancy pigment, which is also a kind of burnt orange-red rather than a coral. It's pretty, but it makes me question the need for Saffron.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Mac is useless when it comes to tracking your order. My overnight orders still say pending when I bet, at this very moment they are floating around in NJ somewhere.Pink Cult is what I am looking forward to most right now! Looks and sounds gorgeous and unique to my collection.
I snagged my Mehr last night but haven't gotten a shipping notice or anything. Let's hope we both get ours!

i'm also wishing i had gotten overnight shipping...
oh well, it'll be nice to receive the stuff whenever! i kind of wish i had gotten sur...but i was kind of hoping i could just use my dolce vita instead...i know it's not the same, but i had to cut something out...as for siahi, i might get peacock from stila instead someday...i'm not sold on the fuildine formula - i think my eyes are too sensitive!

Looks like I didn't get the Mehr after all--sold out. Anyone know a dupe for that one? I'd really like a Satin or Matte Finish, but I bet I'm dreamin'

I'm not too crazy about Matte finishes but i do love Satin! I wasn't planning to get Mehr because of this.

I was grumbling last night about having to work late at the clinic BUT I got a break at 9 pm our time (PST) which is about the time new collections go up on the website. I hit the website early before the collections were listed together but the items were available. Got both fluidlines, Gana blush and Play It Proper (thanks to the lovely Elegant). Selected 2 day shipping but wish I had just paid the extra money and gotten overnight. Order still shows as pending online but I know that can be misleading. My order went through online by within 2 minutes of these babies going up.

wow i am amazed to read that some people got backups of the fluidlines...i am a backup whore and didn't get backups of the fluidlines b/c it took me 3 whole years of everyday use to use up my first pot of gelliner (bobbi brown black ink)....so the 3 pots of fluidlines (ivy, siahi, and dark diverson) should last me 9 years! (not to mention the other 6-7 bb gel eyeliners i have)

Did anyone buy Flesh lipglass? I kept debating it. I wanted it b/c it seemed to match Siss perfectly, but I worried about the streakiness of it.
