My local f/s is having a party as I found out today when I went to pick up the peacocky stuff so I signed up for an 8:30pm time slot. I just hope I can get off work in time that day....Feb 1st.

ZOMG! I just called my MAC counter, the collection is coming out Feb.10 and they are having an event for it, not a launch party where we can buy anything, just a 45 minutes presentation type thing with info on the entire collection, apparently it's really BIG!

I don't want to go to an event unless I can buy. That just feels like one big tease. This is pissing me off. So far, I haven't been impressed with anything I've seen, but there may be something that interests me. I'll be better off going to the store when it launches than betting for an online order. The site will probably shut down.

How on earth are they supposed to be previewing in 4 weeks and have no colour story ?????? If it wasn't for the cool msf i wouldn't bother checking this page out. Creating a hype is one thing,not bothering to release any info at all is collection suicide. I have the attention span of a toddler and i'm getting bored with this collection.

I love the artwork on the box. seriously good! the MU so far, meh. the compact looks ok.
overall, i would go to an event and be cool with getting a piece of PR with the artwork on it instead of hauling MU at this point.
The color at the bottom of the compact looks like stereo rose.

Besides the MSF, I'm not interested in the products we've seen so far. Red Lips aren't for me and the quads also do nothing for me. But I have a feeling that I will like the other l/s, and the n/p, I'm loving the l/s packaging btw. I really want to know the product information for this collection, I don't even care for pictures right know, just the colour descriptions, so I could make a list of what I'm interested in.

I think by shielding all of the info MAC is really screwing themselves over. Sure, they may be more wondering and anticipation, but if I don't know what's in the collection, I can't save and budget for it and they are therefore losing my money. At this point, I don't see anything I *need*, aka: skip. I want the color story!!!!
