Whew! I just got finished catching up on everything...Does anyone else find that the Amazon Princess Blush Duo looks very similar to Band of Roses Mineralize Blush Duo?? I have Band of Roses and it looks the same to me, just judging from the pic. I also wonder how similar the Wonder Woman Lipgloss is to the regular line Russian Red Lip Gloss.

The Valiant Eyeshadow Quad looks beautiful, but seems really dupe-able as well. I was really planning on spending quite a bit on this collection, but not so much anymore. I love the packaging, but the actual shades were a bit disappointing. I'm tempted to just buy the Valiant Eyeshadow Quad just because the packaging is so adorable for the quads, but the new price increase took care of that frivolous purchase. There is no way I will pay $40 for a quad that I don't absolutely love, cute packaging or not.

My definite purchases for this collection will be... Marquise D' Lipstick (Nude- Lustre) Mighty Aphrodite Blush Duo (Coral/Peach & Coral/Pink- Satin) Golden Lariat MSF (Soft Bronze & Coral)

Possible purchases... Pink Power MSF (Rosey Bronze & Pink) This one depends on how dark the bronzer is on my NC25 skin tone. Valiant Eyeshadow Quad (Green shades) Depends on how close the bright green shade is to Humid & the olive green shade is to Mink & Sable or Henna. I have both of them. I also have Manila Paper from SCF. This will probably be a skip for me. Wonder Woman Lipgloss (Red) Depends on how similar to Russian Red Lipgloss

Really? That really sucks. The packaging is part of the charm. Why do they do that, you being a employee and all I think you should get the packaging.

i saw my gratis im getting the lady justice quad heroine lips stick and the themyscrica opulash mascara i believe im just sad mac didn't give the employees the special packaging. its in normal packaging. i didn't do any swatches cause well frankly i wasn't supposed to see it yet lol

yeah that sucks that you get get the packaging - naughty mac! and what do you think of the green quad? dupable or not and are the colours pigmented? only answer if you can though, i dont want to get you in trouble

It does a bit. Band of Roses was mineralize and shimmery. Amazon Princess is satin, in my opinion, the better of the two.

I have been hearing that Mighty Aphrodite may be like Ripe Peach. That will be interesting. I know people get peaved when MAC puts out similar items collection after collection, but it works in my favor at times. I skipped Ripe Peach.

MAC bringing something back that may have been missed isn't a problem with me. The amount of collections, that's another story.

I hope so, cuz I skipped Ripe Peach as well. It seemed as if it was too hyped up for me, I actually skipped all the blush duos. But later on I was mad I skipped Ripe Peach because it was really a nice color.

Hi I'm technically new but have been stalking around here for awhile now

but I love how everyone is able to find stuff so fast. I'm exicted for the collection, the lipgloss could be a major hit or miss, I'll have to try it in the store to see if I can apply it easily. I never tried color mascara before, but since I have so much of every other product I will deffinatly get one of each. Sorry if I missed it but did anyone post a picture of how the mascaras look once applied?

Ugh why have we had no swatches of the MSF? This no leaking info is slowly turning me away from mac. I've only wanted 2 items this year from mac and i'm so close to skipping them.

I have some NEW NEWS for Wonder Woman!

'Was at my local store and my beloved manageress was there. She didn't have any makeup to show me yet (they were scratching their heads as to why they still haven't gotten their shipment in), but she pulled out a TOTE BAG that's going to be available ONLINE ONLY (as far as she knows at this point - she got hers at her training). Oh man, this bag was so cute. It was a medium large sized, 70's style bucket tote made out of fabric printed like a comic strip with all those great pop art images from the WW promotional comic, where she battles Medusa, all collaged together, then banded in metallic gold leather/pleather that form the straps. It's lined with the white stars on the blue background fabric and is REVERSABLE! I don't think I'm going to be able to resist it, but I bet it won't be cheap - it was very well-made - definitely higher quality than the bag from To the Beach.

Another thing, I don't think the initial supplies of this collection are going to be too drastically limited. She told me they are getting 50!! boxes in their shipment. Admittedly, this is the highest volume MAC store in L.A., so they're probably getting maximum quantities, but 50 boxes is pretty out of the ordinary. I suppose you could rack that up to the size of the items. She tried to show me with her hands how big the Mineralize compact is and she was making a circle that was 5 or 6 inches in diameter - i.e. ginormous. She said the items were so huge it was funny. I specifically asked if the tip on the penultimate liner was larger than normal and she felt it was and ought to be great for doing a heavy line in one swoop.

No preview unveiling this time, but they're doing the 4 day free makeup application with $50 purchase, with a Wonder Woman in store hanging out on Sat./Sun. so that'll be pretty hilarious. This is the store in the Glendale Galleria, btw, for all you Los Angeles ladies.

Oh P.S. I found a workaround for if you try to post and don't have access to the toolbar with the smilies and other formatting options and/or your post hangs indefinitely when you try to submit it:

Just page back to your previous page then page forward to the page you wrote out your post on. Your post will still be there, minus any line spacing you may have added, with the toolbar back where it should be and with a normal post submit time.

I'm using the latest ver. of Safari for Mac, but I bet this will work for Firefox people too.

Seems like it's letting me post relatively normally again, though. (Hope I didn't jinx myself by writing that!)

I think I'll probably break down for the MSF, but I can't be sure. It really is drawing me in right now, though.
