Depending on how the swatches look, I'll probably spring for the Valiant pallette and the Marquise 'd lipstick. I need a stash of green shades and a neutral lipstick for my emergency makeup kit in my purse. Greens are pretty work-safe.

Oh dang. I am not feeling the tshirt but when I saw the stars inside the makeup bag, I am jonezing one now. my wallet is gonna hurt after this collection. why do I have to fall for gimmicks?

My husband and I are collectors. We have been working on our Galactus collection and recently started our WW collection. We both got to pick one character we really liked and then we spend time together collecting and researching collectors items on occasion. It gives us an excuse to lay on the bed with the computer and kick our feet like teenage girls lol

Sadly enough, the closer the release date comes, the less excited I get. The only thing I may get is Heroine l/s. :/ I admit I'm not that huge of a WW fan, so nothing's screaming OMG BUY ME.

Now if MAC released a Ladies of Gotham collection...I'd have to camp outside my MAC FFS for a week before release. >_>

The collection looks really nice, I think I'll get a couple of the Opulash mascaras (just black) as it's my go to mascara since it was released and the packaging is super duper cute. I also might get one of the quads but I haven't decided....hmmm...

I do really like the quad swatches above but I have to be honest with myself in that I have a lot of pinks and do not use them that often. I need to pull out my Stras 'n Rockets because I used to use that so often and loved it.

you do! stars and rockets is a great shadow!! sadly mine brokea while ago and i still havent got a replacement one!

I second that! I absolutely love that colour. I do find that it's close to Urban Decay's Asphyxia, which I already have, but I don't care, because they're both beautiful. I don't use it nearly as much as I want to, although now that you've put the idea in my head, I may pull it out today.

As for the pink/ plum quad, I find that these shades do fit nicely between ones that I already have. Plus quads are just so damn easy to travel with... I want to try these colours with Dark Diversion fluidline.

I agree greens are definitely work-ready shades. Especially if you use a #217 brush for a more subtle application leaving a hint of color. This technique works well with brown eyes.

Just got an email from one of my favorite MUA who is also the manager of one of the MAC stores in the area. They have been told absolutely no preorders on this collection.

I am losing my enthusiasm for this collection. Sorry MAC I can't take off work on release day to chase down LE collections.

That stinks about the no pre orders. I hope that it doesn't launch online in the middle of the night or something, I can't be by the computer the whole day either.

no preorders!? this stinks... i can't get to my local counter the day it releases so i'll have to order it all online i hope i can order what i want befor it all is sold out

I think that the pre-order thing cuts both ways. Keep in mind that the vast majority of Mac consumers don't know anything about pre-ordering, so they're pissed off when they get to a store and find out that everything that they want has been sold already. (And MA's are not always good about telling people when they can pre-order.) I don't think that I'll order on line for this. I'll take my chances going to the store on launch day. I'm fortunate that there are a few along the metro line here, so it's not a big deal for me to make a stop.
