How informed are the live chat reps? I specifically asked when it would hit local counters and not Pro stores and I was told tomorrow. I then called my local counter and she told me it's not out until the 10th. That bugs. Oh well, more time to see swatches to see if I even need to make the trip.

I have a friend who manages a MAC counter for Nordies. On the previous occasions when something has dropped early they don't find out until the opening of the store that day and then they have to do a mad scramble. It's horrible.

wow, I'm shocked. I just got my shipped email from MAC, my order will be here today. I ordered standard shipping & we had an ice storm & my stuff is on the truck out for delivery

I just called the MAC store I stalk regularly and was told they have their stock in but they are not allowed to sell it until the 10th. He'd heard that some pieces had sold out online but if you were booked for one of their sessions for this event (mine is on the 11th) you should be able to have plenty to choose from. I hope so because I really wanted to see the Pink Power MSF in person and now I think I want the red cosmetic bag.

MA is sold out on the Canadian Site - glad I picked it up! Pink Power is still listed as Coming Soon... I guess people who really want it will have to keep checking back!

Got my AP today. It is stinking HUGE. Pretty colors and pigmented. I definitely recommend a light hand when applying. I am NW15 and it certainly brightened up my face. Waiting for Pink Power and MA which should be here Thursday and Friday respectively.

I also had both glitters in this order but they were repurchases.

I am done with this collection. It wasn't as fun or original as I had hoped it would be.

Originally I had a wish list of about $300. The final tally ended up being both blushes, both glitter and Pink Power and I feel like maybe I bought too much.

So what do you think about the color on? Describe it for me please

Do you have Band of Roses - if so how does the pink compare on you?

This has happened at my counter as well. They'll just get an email from the regional trainer and things change real quick. I will be going to a MAC store tomorrow afternoon to see what's good. I really want to check out Spitfire.

Good news: I got Mighty Aphrodite today. It's GORGEOUS! Loves it. It's much brighter than I thought and that's a great thing. Both sides have great pigmentation and it's buttery smooth. Bad news: I wondered where my order for AP blush and Heroine l/s was so I checked Mac and somehow it got standard shipping! Argh! I was so sure I changed it to second day. It shouldn't be long before I get it. Maybe Monday, but it feels so long! I want it now!!!

Anyone who has seen Spitfire IRL, please tell me its different from Raddiccio? Otherwise its going back. I should have gotten RR instead! I can't believe that tote bag--it is WAY too cute. I think it worth the cash, but I am not gonna spend it. Good luck getting one anyone who wants it though. On the other hand, I am so stoked I got the blue makeup bag after GoatGoat's pix! thanks for all the lovely posts. I just got a confirmation email my order shipped. now the wait begins for the little black box.

I see how it works, lol! I was thinking you can rock Spitfire. Its a unique color. In Temptalia's swatch it really looks different than anything I have seen. It may be in the same family as some other color, but its different. Russian Red? Think about it in comparioson to the MUFE red you already have. MAC mattes are so drying compared to the MUFE rogue intense colors. Sin, I love it, but it tore my lips up and i keep my lips pretty moisturized.

Doesn't look like my box will be here today. I got the shipping notice, but there is no activity on the ups tracking info page. Perhaps tomorrow, its only coming from MD.

[/quote] You're right. Russian Red pales in comparison to Mufe's Moulin Rouge. That was my original argument against RR, but I was thinking why not. I don't need any drying lipsticks because my lips are in pretty good condition now after being wrecked for weeks. I considered Marquise D' but I don't think it'll show. So, it's Spitfire for me probably.

I'm in the same boat. :-( The UPS tracking site shows no activity but as I'm only in the Philly burbs and it's coming from MD. Sometimes I'll get the box and the UPS site doesn't update until the next day. ::sigh::

Well I went to the pre-launch party last night. I only was there to get my items & left. I am soo happy with my purchases!

I did some damage, but thankfully I had gift cards from Christmas!

I got both MSF's, Pink power is sooo gorgeous! It's not too pink, which I love. It might replace my HG MSF, Gold Spill. I love how big they are...but I overheard that the store I was at last night only got 6. I am so glad I was the 1st one to check out! I might have to get a BU of it, I called my local nordies counter but they will not pre-sale this collection, but will give me a call when their shipment arrives so I can place items on hold. I wish it wasn't sold out online, but oh well!
Golden Lariat is amazing, but wont work on lighter skin tones, it will turn orange. But it gives an amazing glow to my NC25-30 skin
Might Aphrodite is AMAZING! Its not to over-the-top coral, it has a nice pinkish hue to it. Perfect for summer!
Athena's Kiss is gorgeous, another perfect summer color. I can't wait until it warms up here to wear it with my yellow maxi dress.
Emancipation is really pretty. I can see it being a everyday color for me. The only thing that steers me away from the regular lipglass formula for everyday is the tackiness. I am a cremesheen whore for everyday wear.
Wonder Woman, I just had to get! For the name & it being a awesome red. I know a lot of ppl were disappointed that it wasn't super opaque, but honestly I like it like that. If you lightly dab on Russian Red & put this on top, its gorgeous.
Spitfire I was going to pass on since my bf isn't too hot on pink lipsticks, but I got it after seeing swatches of it being a bit muted. It's too die for, perfect formula! This is another one I can't wait to wear in the summer!
I already have Marquise D for BBR, but I had to get a BU of it! Especially because of the packaging. But, it's one of my HG lipstick colors. Just all around awesome!

I knew what I wanted when I went into the store, so I really didn't look around & it just being packed with people, I was just getting grossed out. I did manage to looks at the eyeshadow quads. Yes, the green one is the best, but that's not saying much! Total disappointment all around for the quads! Waste of money, especially for me since I have been collecting MAC for 7+ years.

My standouts for this collection are the 2 MSF's, Mighty Aphrodite & Athena's Kiss.

I also have to say if you don't have Russian Red, GET IT! It's my favorite red, another HG item.
