Just got off the phone with MAC online and they're trying to figure out just WTH went wrong. Considering this blush is now sold out, I'm really bummed. I'm supposed to get a call back as soon as they research what happened.

I think some of this collection's quads are going to end up at CCOs. From what I have seen, they are not too impressive. Does anyone feel differently?

I'm going to go get Defiance at the CCO. I really like that one if I had to pick one. Chalky or not, I'll work with it at 30% off.

I just called my local MAC counter and they said the collection is still launching Feb 10th.

Pictures I have seen aren't doing much to make me feel good about Heroine. Here's hoping I'm not pissed when I finally get my hands on it. I don't want it to look like frosted poo on my lips.

Getting a little nervous myself... I don't know why I just felt compelled to get it, but it seems fairly likely I'll hate it in person...

Anyhooooo...now I'm waiting on the tote and the t-shirt. Hubby is not going to be happy with this one. He's totally against the Wonder Woman collection...he gave into Venomous Villains cuz I'm a HUGE Disney and Maleficent fan and we go to Disney World annually so it was necessary. This WW one he's not feeling at all. He's going to be pissed! I don't think this is a cause for divorce LOL, but I will be hearing it for a while. Good thing Surf Baby is not going to be out until April - gives me time for some R&R. Ha!

To that someone (I forgot who) who asked if Spitfire looks like Raddicio...no, both are very different. Raddicio (frost) a pink purple and Spitfire (satin) is a pink magenta. Two different animals and if you look at swatches they are clearly different.

Hey everyone! I got some pictures this morning wearing MA and Marquise d' with Innocence, Beware (or is it Devilishly Stylish? Can't remember which one's the gloss...) which is a dupe for Emancipation. I had to throw it on really quickly with my 187, but it should give you an idea Here's what it looks like on pale skin:







(This is the truest to colour I could capture!)

This made me literally LOL. It's a good think I sit in a corner with only a couple of other people. I hope it works out for you though!

My order should arrive today! I'm so excited. Cleaned the blush brushes last night to prepare. Of course this is the day I won't get home later than usual. At least it's not windy here today...

OMG I love, love, love Mighty Aphrodite. The packaging is very true and inspired by the 70's early 80's comic book/super hero toy. It is straight up plastic, but very cute, nostalgic and fun. Looks just like a damn happy meal toy. But it works, lol. Gold star for MAC there. FYI: the gold part of the compact is glued in, so depotting to interchange may not be an option without loosing product.

So I start to swatch on my hand, and I am like, WTF is this light colored chalky powder? I used a 139 to swatch the light side, and it started off being very powdery. I am like like ewww. What in the world???? So I tried it on my face, and that is where the magic happened. Instant glow. Very, very subtle shimmer. This color is beautiful. I want to say it has some duochrome-ness going on. Seems like the more I apply, the darker it gets, but not in an obnoxious, too much blush way. Look for the color changes if you can, cause one moment you can see the light gold, maybe some warm yellow, and then the next second you see the peach/coral. I used the darker side to buff some more coral in. I see the coolness of the pink in there as well. Please keep my skin tone in my signature in mind while reading this review, because on ladies, with much lighter skin, it may show up darker on you in the beginning. Also, a few swipes to swatch on the hand really don't do any justice to how it looks in action. Definitely try it on if you can


Ripe Peach has nothing on this one, cause on me RP had no depth, no texture. Mighty Aphrodite is so much better. Its beautiful. I may get a back up. 2010 it was BoA. 2011, its all about Mighty Aphrodite (so far) Happy Hauling!
