my face has gotten crazy lately... I haven't had other mineral makeup break me out, but I know it is sinking in my pores. BOOOOOO! to breakouts... thank you for responding.

some people have the issue where the msf's make their pores look larger. and i know some people are allergic to the mineral products so maybe it is what is causing you to break out

I keep thinking about the Valiant quad. I love green's, but something is stopping me from buying it. I have yet to buy a Mac quad that has disappointed me, but I keep hearing this one sucks. What to do?

i love greens too but like you something has stopped me from buying this quad. i think it's because some reviews have been less than god. and also i don't like the quads when they are packaged like that! i like them in a square!!

The reviews we read on here definitely make or break a purchase for us I think. I think it would be good to swatch it in store then decide. At least that's what i usually do when I'm torn between whether or not to make a purchase.

eeeeeeeee I just managed to get MA off the debenhams website pretty much everyone has said they love it so I'm excited now!
Oh and to the person who asked about valiant, I got it and LOVE it. The pigmentation is pretty good on me, but I'm super pale

You'll love MA, it's gorgeous! I'm also really pale and only have a problem with the lightest green in the Valiant quad. It's not superbad, but it would have been nice if it was a little more pigmented. The two darker greens are amazing, i love them! The highlight colour is nice too, but i'm not in love with it like i'm with the darker greens.

I love the Valiant palette too. All the colors are gorgeous, but as what Pinkdollface said, the lightest green is a tad hard to appear, may take more work for it to appear but the other 3 colors in the valiant palette are gorgeous.

You know, I resisted buying the quads because the payoff was supposedly so poor and the e/s chalky and all that, and I am now gonna get both Valiant and Defiance. I have yet to meet a MAC shadow I couldn't work with. So I'd say go for it. (But maybe you should not listen to me b/c I am such an enabler and all)

just so you know, i asked their here to help team if they were planning on restocking the powder blushes they said they had no plans to soon :| sad times, i loved being able to use discount codes on nars!

Something stopped me from buying Valiant quad too. I went to swatch it twice (because I couldn't believe I was skipping greens) and I'm crazy about green shadows, but I don't know, this just didn't wow me for some reason.

I agree that the lightest green were poor in pigmentation.

I got Valiant and I really like it! I had decided not to buy anything from this collection but I liked this quad and the MSFs. I believe it definetely worthed buying it since my only greens by MAC were Greensmoke and Humid. The pigmentation is great, the second colour may need a little more time to work with, but I have seen many MAC colours that are far more dificult to work with. (although I prefered a gold colour to be included, but that' my personal preferance).
I got the last Golden Lariat of the MAC store and I really love it, I would hve moved all my bronzers in the back and use only this if the darkest shade wasn't too orange for contouring.
The blushes were unfortunately sold out, I'll try next week.

I gave in today and bought Amazon Princess. I'm suprised there were still left. After i bought one there were still two. I'm happy i got it!
