It's weird how it is all such a big secret now. I like to plan my haul ahead or at least my "check it out" list.

I want swatches too. and SOON!!!

My first mes was the ones from the VV collection and i really want more! the black and gold one WILL BE MINE!!!! I'm from pittsburgh and I bleed black and gold lolz but i also wanna try creamsheen since the only things i basically ever get from mac are LE since they have so much but you gotta hurry otherwise you will miss out, any that make the lips really pop on NW20 skin?

quite possibly - which i actually skipped because if you mix vintage gold pigment with antique gold glitter over a black base you got GBA shadow :)

i'm on the fence about this collection but i'm putting some money on the side just in case. i'm interested in some of the eyeshadows and possibly the brushes too, but we shall see! i have a bad habit of not using mineral eyeshadows...

yeah i do have to admit that i use my mineral ones less than my normal ones :) but i still keep buying the suckers!

Yeah me too, they're like an addiction because they look so pretty and you feel like you must have them especially if they are colours you wear a lot. Thing is I always seem to go for products which are quick to hand and usually small with everything there in it like the Urban Decay Naked palete, it is just simple.

yup that is so true! i do admit that i use my style black mes the most. closely followed by fresh green mix. such a pretty green!

I find that MES are very good for more dramatic looks, but it's kind of difficult to tone them down. If I wear them, it's generally when I'm going for a look that will make a statement. The only one I've had to b/u is Family Silver, because that one I can fit more into everyday wear and I've somehow managed to go through almost the entire grey/ pewter half. I still haven't had to open my b/u yet, though. I'm kind of happy that one of the shades looks like it's a close cousin, since I can get it and feel secure that I can get something similar if (when) I need it.

hmmm the "strawberry" lipstick and creamsheen look more like a strawberry shake than the actual fruit color. Not what I expected! Oh well. Still getting them!

i think the light pink lipstick u see is mlle from fashion flower collection....the pics display flighty fashion flower and semi precious :)

Went to my local MAC store today and the manager (and the girls) there told me the release was MAY 12!!!
I was totally taken aback. she was looking right at the book in front of me. I saw the Name of the collection, the promo image ( a blond girl with dark lips from a profile shot... it was upside down) and they did indeed repeat the date back to me several times.

23 CAD for the eyeshadows.
And as for the brushes, she said they are indeed split in half, but on flat brushes they are split lenght wise, if that makes sense. so on one side, there are one type of bristles running all along the flat part, and on the back end, the other type on that same flat part. The MUA said they were pretty cool actually.
