Early Buzz Regarding MAC Collections/Products Coming in 2011 - Discussion

good to know, I always look for new ways to use them although for me a metallic wing is too eye-catching

Since they're sheer-ish, it tones it down. I usually use the brown or plum from Summer Stash, with a lighter color on the lid. I place it in the crease and then extend it past the crease in a wing that follows the lower contour of my brow bone, curving with it to just past the brow. I don't place it in the outer portion of the lid, but I will put some under the lower lash line.

With STO, I'll just do the same thing with the gold, silver or light green, but put it all over the lid too.

I do this with various Mega Metal shadows too, but it's a bit much with more opaque shadows - at least for summer.

I'm a bit confused. All the Cinematics items are now coming out under other collection names? Weren't the Empty reffilable Eye Shadow x 2 supposed to be an international exlusive? Does anyone know where and when they are coming out? Everywere in Europe?

Thanks for the link! Everything looks great, and I totally forgot about the Matchmaster foundation. Maybe I'll give that one a try. I want those Prolongwaer e/s, but I can't keep buying every brown, taupe and cream coloured e/s on the planet, this needs to stop, lol. Also the pink Glamgloss looks hot.
I'm not sure what those Prep+Prime Highlighters in that tube are. Prep+Prime Highlighter is the name of the click pens from Primed for Perfection, so is this another new product? If so, I need it. I was thinking about getting Le Blanc de Chanel or Givenchy Acti'mine, but I'll rather wait for this one then.

Seaside cream color base (We already know!)
pigment in Electric coral (it sounds new to me)
prolongwear eyeshadow in Plush (probably that cute light taupe)
MAC pro pigments in neon shades... could they be new??
Runaway red lipstick (finally a image^^)

and also
weathered prolongwear eyeshadow (don't have pictures??)
Sweet satisfaction prolongwear eyeshadow (still no image)
and I don't understand if the last lipstick is Myth ...

Thanks for the link xasperadastra!!! Finally a pix of the Runaway Red lipstick I've been dying to see. Now, if we can get a pix of the Prince Noir lipstick and all the other ones coming out. I know, I know, I'm way too impatient. That taupe eyeshadow looks great. I want it! I wish we had a pix of the Moody Blue and Lady Grey eyeshadows coming out. I believe the Moody Blue is a grey-blue color. Not sure how dark or light the Lady Grey is suppose to be.
That orange shadow the model is wearing is really amazing. I wouldn't be able to carry it off at my age, but I do like it very much. It's unique.

I think the taupe colour is called Feather, because underneath the picture of the beige and the taupe shadows it says: pro longwear in plush (pictured are the pro longwear e/s in beige and feather)

I think plush is the colour used for the look.

Also underneath the picture of the duos it says that the duo palettes might become permanent, if they sell well. I like the idea of being able to buy a duo palette for traveling.
There is one thing i don't understand. How were they able to create the pink lip in the first look with Peachstock, Freckletone, Have to Have it l/l and Illicit l/g?

oh wow..I love the look of the mac quad, purple shadows and both the mac and nars lipglosses. Does anybody know what the shadows are between the nars glosses and the mac products? Could they be mac cream shadows or prolong shadows?

great photos. i am delighted to see mac are doing PALE shades with their new foundation. I was gutted when prolong wear and mineralize liquid foundations weren't released in nw15. Is it just me or does it look like there is a new viva glam lipstick shown in one of the last photos...it looks like its behind the shoot of the foundation and it looks like a hot pink?

It looks more like Devilish Orange to me rather than Root, which I remember to be far more brown-ish, though I might be wrong. I hope it's just a mistake and MAC will come out with an orange-based CCB that is suitable for use on the eyes. It would rock as a base for Saffron!
