Ooh, I have both of those. I'll have to give that combo a try! I usually wear just lippy or lipgloss, rarely both, but that's pretty, I think we have similar colouring, too

Thanks for your help in deciding which Unsurpassable to keep, I've gone for the one next to mine. :) Also wanted to show you the look I've done with it and my old Unsurpassable which has a beautiful sparkly greeny gold patch.

I used the greeny gold on the inner part of my lid, the green from the new one on the middle of the lid, the purple on the outer V and crease, plus the greeny gold above the crease and the while gold from Illusionary Burning Ambition MES on my browbone. Green Collection 2000 sparkly eyeliner on top, Urban Decay Binge 24/7 on lower lashline, black Diorshow Blackout on lashes. Pearl MSF on cheeks as blush and highlight. What do you think?

love it!! you look so beautiful! and i love the lips too! :)

Ladies!!! Run don't walk to get your Faux Gold. If you love neutrals, you will love this shadow. It is very much a "neutral with kick". Also, try to find one with a nice slice of burgundy veining. It reminds me of the mountains in Arizona and Nevada. I wore mine today foiled with Saddle in the crease and Sketch in the outer-v. Check out the pics!

You look just lovely!!! I LOVE love love Faux Gold.

So pretty! I love the colours all blended together for a soft, frosty look!

I tried FG in combination with Rich Life piggie. It's gorgeous. Sadly enough, I managed to knock over my piggie and spilled half of RL on the counter/floor. What a mess.

smoked ruby arrived today so my haul is complete!!! brushes, smoked ruby, dark indulgence and gem of roses... I love my products and MES are really better than the older ones... I have lovestone (I love it anyway) and the texture is not buttery at all in comparison!!

What do you think of the brushes? I'm considering the 179 for applying my powder foundation, my old and cheapish kabuki brush is slowly dying :(

oh wow!! he really is an amazing hubby! that sounds wonderful! you have to post up some pictures of your suite! i'd love to see! :)  And yes the cco has set prices but i am darned if i can remember them. although i feel like pigments are £10.50! which is a nice saving :)  i think the pro pan shadows are about £6 and the potted ones about £8 or £9. I haven't been since the Feb this year but need to go again!  And when I have gone there has been a nice selection - always lots of pigments which is good for me! usually in old jars too! there tend to buy lots of glosses too and usually a brush set of some kind. sometimes they even have msf's but last time i went they had none. they also have foundations and such too!
Oh that sounds great, thanks! I had read about the 30% off thing for US stores but seen YouTube video with a UK lady who said the pigments and eyeshadows were similar prices to what you mentioned, I just didn't know if that was current as the vid was old - I definitely cannot wait - I'm counting the days :eyelove:

I went to York last year with the boyfriend for his birthday, I love it there and the people are so friendly. York is a beautiful city and has some really nice places to eat and visit. I went there before I was really into MAC so didn't know about the CCO but I think it is slightly out of town anyway so it would have been harder to get to as we don't drive.
Oh that's good to know, it sounds like you had a wonderful time :) I really want to visit The Shambles shopping street as it was supposedly the inspiration for diagon alley in Harry Potter, did you go at all? And next time, don't worry about driving, apparently my friend tells me the no 7 bus leaves the railway station every 10mins and is a direct bus to the outlet, with a return costing £3 ;)
