I just bought a bottle of perfume (Hermes Elixir de Merveilles), so that kinda blew my July/August beauty budget. I've shrunk down my list to just these:
Definite:
226 brush
Maybes:
Mythical, Carbonized shadows (I need to see if these are similar to what I have in my stash/what's available permanently)
Evil Eye quad (same)
Lady Grey quad (I'm not sure if I'd use the colors that often aside from Hazy Day)

i've just been using my 226 brush when filming a tutorial - i loves it so much! and once again i will say that i do not find it scratchy at all

yay! this is good to know...I can't wait to get iti've just been using my 226 brush when filming a tutorial - i loves it so much! and once again i will say that i do not find it scratchy at all

Swung by my regular MAC store today to pick up some e/s. Asked one of my regular MA's about the 226 being released again. She flat-out denied it was coming back. I probably was looking at her like she was crazy!

There's really no excuse for that when the PR information has already been sent out. I'm never sure if Mac just isn't providing their employees with the information that they're sending out to the press, or if some employees just aren't reading it.

I heard about that. That REALLY sucks. Hopefully the new purple PP's will be a good purple base.
yeah that is kinda silly isn't it? maybe she wasn't sure so said no.... but when i don't know things at work i check before i answer! it happens loads to me too with customers finding out info before i do!

I really wish every sales assistant would do this, especially as the MUA at MAC should know that if a customer asks for a specific product, they have done a lot of reading/research before they ask if product X or product Y are repromoted. I understand that they can't know everything, but I expect a certain professionalism, i.e. dig it up in the training book or ask the manager on site.

I`ve decided. I`ll buy 2 fluidlines from this col. Now the trouble is deciding which ones, the green one for sure, I need swatches to make up my mind

The plum one sounds very interesting too. It also seems to go well with the other collections that are coming out in the Fall.

I've went to stores where I was the person that reminded them to bring out a display that day!
lol! well i have to! it could cost me a sale if i say no and it really does have that feature. or worst case i say it does something and it really doesn't. then you get one peed off customer wanting a refund! and when my customers are spending thousands of pounds at a time i would rather make sure i give them the right info before they spend! hee hee!

Hahah, that happened with the Magically Cool Liquid powder. The first answer I got was that this was part of the VV collection and they don't have it anymore. As I insisted that they check their stock they eventually found it, including the display. Oh dear.

At my counter this spring they didn't know about the new MSF's (Give Me Sun etc.) when I asked for them. They even asked me, the customer, what collection they were supposed to be in and what the products are, so I told them and described the products, and in the end they found them in the drawers to put up on the display. The MA joked she should call me to know what's up with Mac.
I'm super excited to see all these new fall collections, it's going to be hot hot hot!
