Yeahhh, most of the time I feel that way, too! Except that I've been having of a heck of a time trying to find alternates to Shadesticks. I just CAN'T. And so... it's starting to look like I'm going to spend a ton on the Shadesticks from MAC Me Over.

All of MAC's promo images seem like they come from one image per product and then the shade is changed in Photoshop to 'match' the description, just like the website swatches are.

I wish we would start getting swatches to look at. I know we have another four weeks, but... I'm impatient. I truly want to see the Prince Noir lipstick swatches as well as all the lipsticks, shadesticks, shadows, etc. I alread have my mind set to just buy a few of the lipsticks from this collection & nothing else. Need to save for the CS, PP, G&I and GP collections.

My curiousity is slowly churning and I kind-of want to know the Winter collections that will be coming out after the Gareth Pugh collection. Bad me!

well, they match them very bad because the evil eye quad is supposed to have a purple (and there is a purple in the image), a yellow grey (and there is something similar to a dirty green) palace pedigreed IS NOT A PALE PINK -____- the color is a mmm burgundy berry, the description matches the true color...but I see a PALE PINK... and there shuld be a blackened green which in the image looks like a blackened purple... IMO there is no palace pedigreed, they should have changed their mind because that is a pale pink XDXDXDXD the other three shades could instead be true!

Yup, that's what I usually expect. As a result, their colours are frequently "off" in the promo pics, but the Evil Eye quad image is just wrong if you look at the colour descriptions.

Well that is just what is done in the design industry. It is stupid for the consumer but cost efficient for the company. Can you imagine how long it would take to do accurate swatches of all of the products. If you look on the website, you will see countless shades with exactly the same image but in a different hue, that is not possible to do unless they have been altered in Photoshop.

I hope to see swatches soon. The one does look a ton like the Quite Cute quad. I know I want shadesticks. I am very excited about them!!

beautiful swatches always seem to do that to a person :p
that's how I fell for the bloggers collection...darn pretty swatches

I think I will go for s/s too. Who knows, it might be a long time before they repromote them again.
