The 226 still isn't up and now I can't trust the quality b/c this was probably a rush job. I'm just going to go in store and inspect the brush myself. I can't deal w/ this mess.

it's very weird that they would change the shape of the 226. that is why iot was such a good brush when it first came out - the tapered tip! i won't be buying another from this collection then :)

I'll check the brush at the store. If it's not tapered much, I will not buy it.

I really hope they don't change the 226...I have been lemming this brush for so long and was so excited to here it was being released again

does anybody know if the 211 has always been available or is it making its debut in this collection? I know its been made perm but I am just wondering if its a repromote....

-Runaway red Lipstick
-Dark Envy Fluidline
-226 brush.

I hope its not changed either... I need it!

I got Outre Eyeshadow and Dark Diversion fluidline. Im going to store on thursday to Back 2 mac for Mythical eyeshadow. Does anyone who has this think it is a muted cranberry? Or know a dupe of it? Just trying to figure if I need to have both.

Thanks for posting this. I love Holmique's videos and while the T site is informative, her skin tone is much closer to mine and I've never regretted buying anything after I've seen her swatches.

I am going to take my 226 to the store to compare. I know sigma made their version, but I can't trust it in comparison to a MAC brush. Just can't. I hope a few bloggers and you tubers compare 226 brushes, from this collection and the past 2 collections side by side.

If my 226 is not as tapared, i will take it back to Nordies and try to swap for a better one. Or just orser another one when mac releases it because possibly its delayed because they are perfecting it.

I have to say, I'm wearing Dark Envy fluidline today and it's not nearly as smooth as the Blacktrack and Dipdown fluidlines I have. Not that it's awful, but it's a bit stiffer to work with than the other ones I own. On my eyes it seems fine, but I got very nervous when I swatched it on my hand last night when I got home and it was somewhat patchy.

I'm wearing it with the Cool, Calm and Collected trio from In The Groove - but I don't think I'd try it again - the greens are just not on the same tone and it looks a bit oddball. Does anyone have any suggestions on what it would look good with? I'm typically pretty bad at mixing and matching spontaneously!

Welcome to Specktra! I'm surprised that they told you that. I know that the Pro store in Montreal had everything last week, although some of it was in very limited quantities. I don't see how they could be having a supplier delay here and not in the US...

that's so good to know! I didn't have many swatches of NM to work with, and when I asked a Mac MA what lip pencil would be best for Prince Noir she said she hadn't seen Prince Noir yet, so she wouldn't know -___-

My f/s store (not Pro) has also received all the merchandise last week. There were no delays of the 226.

Maybe MAC just wants to make it very "exciting" for us, so that we all wait in full anticipation for the online release of the 226 (and put other stuff in our shopping basket while we wait).

I'm not sure "very exciting" is synonymous with "annoying as hell". Which is what this collection's release has felt like.

The blasted Midnight Blues fluidline STILL isn't available on the Canadian site. Arghhhhh.
