I am a newbie to posting, but have lurked FOREVER! LOL! You girls and guys rock!

Here are pics of my 226 brushes... The two on the far left are from the latest collection. The last three are from the past collection(from 2009). The last brush(far right) is VERY tapered, the other older ones, just so so...

I actually LIKE the new ones, yes, they DO remind me of a smaller 224, but if you have small eyes, it is perfect IMO for blending crease colors.

went to mac yesterday to buy a paint pot and mac me over is still not in store, apparently there has been delays getting it over here but its online?

Kinda sucks i wanted to see the fluidlines for myself but have to wait until next week now

It really depends on your undertones. On me (NW20), it does not swatch pink at all. If you get a chance, try it out for yourself.

I really like it & I have a zillion highlighter types And its BEAUTIFUL just as a shadow with a dark crease color & RED lips and a neutral blush!!! GLAM Baby

Finally got my stuff from this collection! I didn't go crazy, but I'm happy with what I got: -211 and 226 brushes -Creamy Bisque ES x 2 -Mythical ES -Dark Diversion fluidline Love it!

I'm nc15 and it does not swatch pink on me.

It really depends on your undertones. On me (NW20), it does not swatch pink at all. If you get a chance, try it out for yourself.

Do I really need Creamy Bisque? Not sure how much I would like if it really has a visible pink tint to it.

it didn't show up too pink on me, so might depend on your skintone?

I put Dark Envy over top of Blacktrack to make it darker.

If I don't receive my 1st order tomorrow, I will definitely be calling CS again and raising hell. It's ridiculous that my account was charged, yet I still don't have my products.

MIght go check out the collection again today and swatch stuff more properly, was in a bit of a rush yesterday. I'm still not convinced about Creamy Bisque (I really don't like pink), but have to see how it looks on me. I'm about NC15 for reference but don't have super warm colouring and can pull of most colours in my haircolour is right for them

My old one looks like the really tapaered one and the new one like the first one on the left. I don't mind though that they are different and I might like the new one even more. Will definately use them for different things.

I am a quite disappointed with MAC and their inconsistency in producing their products. Below I have comparison pictures of the new 226 brushes Vs. the old from the BBR 2009( I just washed it).The MAC 226 from the BBR in 2009 is on the far left and other 4 are from the MAC make me over collection. The newer ones look like a smaller version of the 224. However, they're ones that look like the 226 from the original BBR collection. I had to return, exchange, or hand select my brushes. In the first picture are the brushes that I received that were not tapered and look like the 224. In the second picture, is a comparison of the MAC 226 from the BBR in 2009 left vs. the newly brushes I returned.

They should have named the new 226 differently since it is not the same brush IMO.

I'm around a NC 15 also and it doesn't swatch pink on me either...in fact when I first swatched it it reminded me of Shroom...maybe b/c I was wearing it that day.
