^^ The blue quint in your mailer looks like Electric Lights, from summer 2009! I have the quint.

For spring 2012, I'm drawn to Roses quint, the pinks and purples are so feminine. I also like the nail polishes, the green reminds me of Jade Rose!

The Rosy Glow blush is pretty in the pan, but I'm quite skeptical. It sounds gimmicky, and I tried on their Rosy Glow lip balm they had earlier on, and to my disappointment it remained colourless on my lips. At least for a balm if it is colourless it still gives moisture, but if a blush gives no colour what use is it, lol.

I have to admit that I'm drawn to the blush and the Roses quint, but I'll have to see them first. I was intrigued by the description: "Rosy Glow works in the same way as those gel blushers that turn a different shade on everyone and rely on the heat of the skin to change colour".

Sounds like an interesting new formulation -

Yeah, I seem to remember trying out stuff like that in the 80s. It basically turned kind of an unnatural pink on everyone, with a little bit of variation. I mean, I'm sure that Dior has something a little more sophisticated, but I'm always a little leery of these "one size fits all" kind of products.

I will look at the blush when it comes out, and maybe give it a test to see if it turns pink. I had a Ken doll whose plastic head (hair) changed colour when I put him in the freezer. That is also due to heat loss/gain, right. Heehee.

Cheryl - Yup, Roses quint looks gorgeous. I usually feel underwhelm when I see the quints in person, so we shall see about Roses.

^^^ one size fits all with colours usually don't work unless you are 12.. lol.

that said, anything like this -- I do remember testing some almay products that had this "fit's your colouring" scheme.. did turn pinky/purple on me.. like I had a bad case of hives or something. .. if not, you just don't get any colour payoff.. I mean nil.

uggh, Smashbox had some gloss and blush like that, called O-glow or something (real original, huh?) that was fuchsia pink, very clownish. NO thanks, even from Dior

I really want the smokey khaki shadow set. Ingenue reviewed it on her site. I haven't bought anything Dior in ages and gave away the little bit that I had leftover. This is exciting, though. I hope it's in stock on Sephora before their F&F sale is over.

It seems like everyone is loving all the eyeshadows in this palette, except for the liner. All the eyeshadows look so wearable and great for every day, but the liner is really making me think twice about getting this palette.

Any idea when the spring collection will come out? It looks amazing!
I don't know about the US, but here in the UK it will be released in Selfridges in early January, then other stores a few weeks later. You guys usually get collections early compared to us, if that helps.

I really can't wait for this collection!

Thanks for the responses ladies! This marks the first Dior collection that I'm actually planning ahead to buy things from. I have a few Dior items, but they've been impulse purchases when I've been at other m/u counters. But this collection.... Gahhh!
