So, after playing more with the Velvets and taking some swatch pics (posted in the Chanel swatch thread), I'm actually loving La Ravissante the most. Wore it today with a coral colored sweater and I received so many compliments. As soon as my budget allows I'll probably buy two Ravissantes. I think I just found my HG coral lippy...at least until there's a RA this color with gold shimmers (is there?).
Also realized your lips can't be too moisturized or else the color will skip all over the place--better to apply balm after. I also prefer to apply with a brush.
L'Exuberante is definitely not for me. It's too cool-toned and neon.

Does anyone have recommendations on (and/or willing to swatch) any nude-toned Rouge Allures? My current HG nude lippy is MAC's Touch, but I'll probably finish it up soon and I've been spoiled off the texture of Rouge Allures. So basically a brownish nude that pulls warm/has golden tones. I have Fabulous but it's more of a MLBB shade rather than a nude. Thanks!

Here's a pic I just took. Of course the sun went in at the worst time so it's not that great, but you can still get a relative idea if you have any of the others. It's closest to Delicate. Mythic is lighter and more beige and Naive is more pink.

Instinctive is a peachy golden nude on me -- but it isn't a brownish nude. The online swatches usually aren't helpful because they look nothing like the actual color!

Thanks ladies! Yeah, it seems like every one I've been wanting to try (Mythic, Nude, Instinctive, Insouciante, Delicate) has been DC'd. :/ Maybe they'll release some more for Fall/Holiday 2012? I'm just worried about buying an "old" lipstick from Izzy's or Strawberrynet.

If you can track down a counter/site that still has Insouciante -- it is a pretty one, too. On me it was a brownish mauve nude (? if that makes sense)

Apparently this is my lucky week! Two interviews, and when I went to the mall today to return something I randomly stopped at my Chanel counter and saw my fave SA was clocking in. When we got to talking about nudes (LOL) she said "OH, I have one last brand new Rouge Allure Nude 59 I've been trying to get rid of forever, PLEASE buy it!". She didn't have a tester for it but she opened it and told me to go ahead and try it on and "buy" it. I could always return it so then she could get rid of it by damaging it out. Well lo and behold, it's my PERFECT nude lip! It's SUCH a pretty coppery-gold orange-brown. I swear Chanel DCs the prettiest colors.

^Thanks Winthrop! Job search is going VERY well this week actually--got one job offer, which I accepted, but I have an interview tomorrow at a place I'd much rather work at so I'm crossing my fingers for that. Friend and former coworker works at the latter place, and I've met her bosses (they LOVED me) so I'm strongly confident I'll get in. Plus the pay would be significantly better. :3
Back to Chanel though...would anyone that has both Belgravia and Dior Nocturne be willing to swatch them side-by-side? I'm trying to prevent buying the same color over and over. Thanks!

I thought her eye makeup in that video was beautiful & fresh & really made you notice her eyes. I did have to laugh though, when she lifts up her hand & is holding all the lipstick tubes in a funky looking way. Was her hand just hiding down there with all of them perfectly positioned..sorry but it looked funny to me
