Chanel Spring 2012 collection

I'm surprised you didn't get more of the Spring collection!

I've been wearing the collection all week and love it. All of the colors work well together.

The quad is gorgeous. I have charme l/s and it does show up on me(but I have no color in my lips), paradis is very pretty- a coral pink. The eyeliner really brings out the color in blue or green eyes. The more coral of the lip liners is stunning, I was on the fence about it but i'm glad I got it.

I''m not disappointed with anything that I bought.

I love translucent glosses, and I think it's going to look really nice on top of Hyde Park.

When I saw the collection appear last night, I immediately put all of the lipsticks in my cart. But since the site wasn't working, it gave me the opportunity to check swatches and buy only what I was pretty sure I would use. If only I could do this in "non-broken website" life!

Can you describe the eyeliner color more to me please? I am very interested in it. Is it the same color as the darkest color in the quad?

Stopped by y local Macy's to pick up a glossimer and lo and behold the Spring Collection was there. Tried to stay away, I mean really, I did. BUT opted to take maybe a peek....ended up trying on and purchasing Rose de Mai Eye Shadow, Grenat Eyeliner, Bois de Rose lip liner, Destinee Rouge Coco, and the BonBon Glossimer .... and STILL kicking myself for not picking up the Quad and Tiger Lily ...guess I am going back tomorrow. I am about an NC40 and also use Chanel Teint Innocence compact in 45 Rose for reference almost picked up the Jasmine pressed powder but decided on the Peche Tendre instead less sparkle and very similar.

I do love Hyde Park! But now I've watched this youtube of a makeover using the Knightsbridge products, and I'm wondering if I should have bought Kensington and Belgravia too. They look so pretty all lined up there. I'm hopeless!

I went to a Chanel counter today. I'm surprised to say I walked away without buying a thing. Some of the colors didn't seem suited to me and others were nice, but didn't compel me to buy. Plus, throw in a really aggressive sales associate and I was ready to split. The June nail polish seemed a bit thin, so I passed. The pink glossimer and shimmery pink lipstick seemed nice, but meh. The blush seemed like a weaker version of Desire by Nars and the shadows didn't do it for me either. The Jasmin highlighter looked super pretty in the pan, but was pretty light on me. Plus, I have other highlighters like that one. Well, at least my bank account walked away happy. I think this is one of the few Chanel collections I am skipping on this year.

I didn't do any real research before going to the counter. As much as the MUA talked my ear off, you'd think she would've mention it's a pressed powder.

Winthrop - I didn't buy Super and have been kicking myself. Good that you will have Belvagia soon! Sabrina has swatches of the nail polishes and hers are beautiful and make me want all 3. I have a hard time keeping up with this thread because I haven't gotten the collection and still want to take about the holiday collection, lol. Empire RAL leaves a very pretty pink stain on my lips and i really like it! Do those of you with pigmented get the stin too? I'm happy to know many of you can order the Harrods! Can't wait to hear more about them! Here's more pics on the Bombay collection. The pic with all the Chanel makeup is so pretty, even the tissue box has Chanel printed on it.
