They didn't have the Holiday colours at my Sephora... Hope you have luck there! The lippies are gorg! I like the nail polishes. But I have SO many! Thanks for the swatch pic!

Looked again, and I may "need" that mint colored one! Mint is going to be a HUGE hit this Spring! Check out blog bycelina.com. So INSPIRED! HeeHee

bis - No I will go to another counter, probably the one at Sephora to look at the lipsticks. The counter I was at didn't have some of the holiday colours. Good to know there wasn't any tingling feeling this time! Swatches of the spring nail polishes. They are pretty but I think I can pass. http://www.fruitylashes.com/dior-vernis-garden-party-spring-2012-collection-504-waterlily-694-forget-me-not-swatch-and-review-8541/
Good luck that they have them and you can see them for yourself. The mint one looks kinda interesting in the swatches, but to be honest I wear mostly darker colours anyways...

PixieDancer - Is that your blog? Your name is Celina? I love your writeup of resort 12 mint! I always like cruise fashion shows most, because they are refreshing and give a laid-back atmosphere, and the clothes and accessories are beyond gorgeous! I love the chanel pics you put, especially the mint bag, so I shall go check out the show online.

No, it's not my blog. Just a blog I like a lot that I read all the time! Sorry if my reference to her blog was confusing. She does post interesting travel blogs and pictures. She's very young and fresh in her perspective, which is why I breeze by it once a week or so.

I went to the counter where I purchased the nude compact and the 3 SAs just couldn't wait for me to leave. Two of them were just ignoring me and one of them said they couldn't make a decision, and told me to come again tomorrow to look for the manager. When pressed, she checked their schedule and said the manager would only be back on Monday, so imagine if I were to go there again tomorrow and the manager wasnt there I'll be very pissed off. They didn't consider the situation at all and immediately push it to their manager. I went to Sephora and swatched Versailles and Nocturne. Cinderella, a warm pink is also part of the holiday collection. Nocturne flashes warm in certain light. I like Cinderella but I'm not sure I would purchase Dior again or so soon, after the poor treatment I received. Bis - I tried the rouge Dior on my lips and didn't get a tingling sensation. I think Nocturne flashes warm. It has some gold frost which is visible under certain lights. I think all the rouge Dior in this collection are warm.

That is absolutely un-called for! It's not like your returning a Covergirl mascara at a Walmart! Dior is SO high-end and expensive. Their customer service should be top shelf! I would try to find a phone number to a corporate office and discuss your problem and mention THAT Dior counter specifically in your complaint. I cannot stand, and do not tolerate, poor treatment of well-intentioned customers. You have a faulty product that you paid a great deal of money for, and that should be set right... I don't care where you live!

I have never purchased Dior, mostly cause of prices. But the spring coll coming is too gorgeous to pass up. I have so many bright and bold colors, it will be nice to get some softer lighter colors to add to my ever growing makeup collection.

Here are swatches of the spring purple quad, very pretty, not sure if I need it though. http://blushingnoir.blogspot.com/2011/12/dior-841-garden-roses-5-couleurs-garden.html There are also swatches of Waterlily in the same blog. Thanks, pixiedancer. Long story short, I finally got hold of the manager on the phone by calling the corporate office, and she told me to bring the compact down this Saturday, but had not confirm if they could exchange a new one. I hope for the best.

^ Thanks! Looks likes she's also just posted pics of Tulip Pink. All of this looks nice, but I'm not sure I need any of the shades so far. It's like there are so many things that I already want from other companies, that these don't quite make the cut.

Wishing Dior would come out with my dream quint already! I want to try a quint so badly but all the ones I've seen disappoint me in some way as far as the shade selection. Night Dust would have been perfect if they replaced the two cool grey shades with a taupe and deep blackened brown or maybe a gold! And the other neutral quints are too subtle for me...yikes! Make a good one for mama, Dior!

Dior's quints are rarely must haves for me too. I have three and don't use them regularly, but I am growing to like Iridescent Leather. katred - I hear you, Dior products are rarely must haves for me, and I don't like their packaging. I want to get a Rouge Dior and the swatch of Tulip Pink seems quite coral. Wonder how Corolle Pink looks like. Maybe I should get Cinderella from this holiday collection first. I brought my nude compact to the counter and the manager exchanged a brand new one for me, so I can't complain. I thought that I might only get a new empty compact but with the old powder. I still don't like the packaging of the compact, and most of Dior products anyway.

I have to admit that I am a massive fan of Dior, especially their quints, so I am all over this collection! I can't wait until it hits the stores/website. And those little roses are to die for! These are colours I wear year round so well worth the investment, but that pink/green quint is screaming spring to me and matches a skirt I have and love!

I'd get the Mystic Smokys quad if I didn't already own Chanel Enigma. I wish that darkest purple in the Mystic Smokys was a black with gold glitter. Then maybe it'd be different enough from Enigma. :(

Yes, it does, but it seems the overall impression is rather coolish, so I still get away with this.

Great they replaced the compact, too bad though that they made you jump through hoops to return it. Did you mention to the manager that you had to come more than once to exchange it?

Enjoy Nocturne! I was searching for a plummy lipstick last night and I realised I only have Antigone. I wanted Rivoli from chanel long ago but never got down to buying it. Yeah I told the manager on the phone that. In fact I had to call the corporate office myself to get in touch with the manager because she was not at the counter on Monday as what the SA told me. At least I got a new compact, so I would continue to buy Dior if anything catches my eyes! If they made me mad I'll boycott them, like I do for Benefit, though I was tempted to try the They're Real! mascara.

You know, Night Dust is becoming my cannot live without quint. I use it at least 4x per week. I even like the silver shades when I do a smokey grey eye. And the brown on that quint is definitely my HG color. If it only had a decent contour shade in there along the lines of MAC's Moleskin or Outre, it would be perfect...

Night Butterfly might be one you'd like Arvika...
