I cannot believe that I'm saying this...but nothing is really jumping at me. FH is just wayyyy too orange for my face. Tarina T has an awesome coral blush I have my eye on and I think it will look better on me. I'm so confused on the blushes though. T says they give a naturalflush but to me they look so bright. The mes look so pretty I might get a few. But for right now I'm passing. Me not wanting anything is such a strange feeling...whats going on!? LOL

It's really hard cause everyone's skin tone is different. I will say that T's swatches are usually not good for me as we have completely different skin tones. These blushes on my NC15 skin have a ton of color.

Instant Chic is lighter and peachier, Bite of an Apple is brighter and more coral.

I really, really *want* Fresh Honey, I fell in love with it when I swatched it BUT I already own My Highland Honey (My FAV! blush), Utterly Game & Warmth of Coral - do I need Fresh Honey?! I think it's the closest dupe for My Highland Honey...since I already picked up both of the MSF's, I'm just going back for Summer Haze & Beach Sand. Fresh Honey...yes? no?!

If you use MHH a lot, you would probably be wise to pick up Fresh Honey, so that you have something close as a backup. I have a ton (probably literally) of really deep lipsticks, but I can always justify buying more, because it means I'll take that much longer to go through a shade I can't replace...

I want Early Morning I just hope it's not orange in anyway on me. Orange does not work with my skintone at all. It is a coral shade right?

I was going to get A Perfect Day but I think it might be too milky for me and I ready have The Faerie Glen and Woo Me, and they are my fave nude lippys.

So I think I'll stick with Early Morning (hoping it won't be orange) Twilight Falls and Rich & Witty lipglass.

If you are concerned about orangeness, then I would stay away from both FH and EM. However, I think both shades can work on pale NW complexions. It's just a matter of embracing a new color. Our eyes are not used to see orange blushes. It might be worth to test it in the store and walk around with it a few hours (and wear something that will go with it). Having said that, I love both FH and EM on me (NW15-20).

Re the orangeness: Keep in mind that we are not used to see a lot of orange blushes, thus applying shades like FH and even EM might feel very unusual at first - to say the least. Take time to embrace this new fashion as we will see a lot more orange in the near future. With every new trend, it takes some time to get accustomed to a new color. But remember that these MB's are very blendable and you can control the amount of brightness. Also, use different brushes to apply them.

For example, the 131 will give a very different result than the 188 or 109. Personally, I would only apply FH with the 131. It layers the color beautifully in one brush stroke; the 109 would be far too heavy for my pale skin (although I love that brush for other blushes); the 188 is too flimsy to apply FH and blending it out will result in too much orangeness on my skin. Having said that, you don't need to use MAC brushes, but as I don't know much about other brands, these are the only ones that I can honestly comment on. I made brush recommendations for each blush in my earlier reviews if you are interested.

I hope this helps everybody in deciding what to order.

Thanks! I'm ok with corals like the other 2 I mentioned. I'd like to try it out before I purchase, but I don't have a MAC counter near me I have to rely on swatches. I'm really interested in the new MB to! Maybe once more swatches pop up that will help.

I think if you mix those two blushes together, you might get a version of EM. What makes EM so special is the texture though, and none of the ones you mentioned will give you this buttery touch. However, it's a question of how badly you want EM. If in doubt, I'd wait a bit. I usually go with my gut feeling as I would hate wasting money on a product that I only wear once or twice.

I think im going to go to the Mac counter and find out when this is hitting store. I really think I need to see fresh honey for myself before I purchase online. I know the rest of the wishlist I have for myself is 100% confirmed. Because it is so different, I think I want to definately see it for myself

Do you think Tarte's Cheek Stains would work in the same way as the blushettes? Or maybe a Nars Multiple? I don't have the blushettes, but was thinking of trying one of these after I saw you rec the blushettes. Any advice?

I don't know the Tarte Cheek Stains, but if you have them, give it a try. What I like about the blushettes is that they have a tacky texture and the MB pigments can really hold on to them. Let us know if Tarte or Nars works for you.

I'll try one next time for sure... Never tried a blushette so I don't know if the texture of these other two are different or not. The Tarte Stains seems a little moist and tacky to me so... maybe! I just don't want to upset the color of the blush with the color of the cheek stain. Hmmmm...

When I applied my MB, I used it on top of my Temptu foundation before setting it with MUFE powder. So it was still a little tacky. It held the blush nicely. So, I'm guessing the blushettes work the same way. Maybe I can skip that step, but I may like it. So I'll give it a go and report back!

To be on the safe side, stick with EM. FH is rather loud in comparison to EM, but I really love how different FH looks on my face. It's new and exciting whereas I feel I have seen similar shades (though not the same) to EM and SB. However, if you pair FH with neutral eye and neutral lips, it will look gorgeous on pale NW skin. It's just different and certainly takes some time to get used to when you see yourself in the mirror. Most importantly, use a small brush and apply it with a very light hand at first. Once you get used to the idea of orange on your cheeks, you can go more daring the next time. Last but not least, FH will look even more stunning during the summer. IMO, it is a true summer color rather than a wintery one.

The Surf Baby ones are pretty reasonably priced on ebay, so if the others I'm trying don't work... I could try to pick 1 up.

I thought Fresh Honey looked gorgeous on Christine.
I dont think i've been into makeup that long for the "rules" to have much impact on me.
I think orange blush adds a whole lotta warmth to the face.

Mac-Guy, what about NC skin? Or if you are able to tell from my profilepic, my skin?

Like I mentioned in another thread I went to Pro this morning and this was one of the 3 new collections they had out. I totally ignored the lippies and the eyeshadows. I've never been a fan of mineralized eyeshadows and I got my fill of them this year. However the mineralized blushes were AWESOME!!!!!! I only walked away with one Early Morning but I KNOW I will be back(most likely in the morning) to grab at least one more!. I got Early Morning described by MAC as a peachy pink. I read some of the concerns about orangeness earlier in this tread. Like someone said( MAC-Guy) try it. Orange is a VERY flattering color on WOC. I can see this becoming a go to blush for me. I have Fresh Honey next in my sights!!!!

I think orange blush adds a whole lotta warmth to the face.

I think orange will look flattering on NC complexion, though if you are very pale NC10 - 20, it will certainly be a noticable blush.
