Scarlet Ibis looks gorgeous on you, Shontay! And it looks like I made the right decision about not buying it for me. The orange tones would make me look blah but it makes you look fab!

I just got my order with Pink Pigeon and Scarlet Ibis and I absolutely love both of them! I really didn't think I would because I rarely wear bright lipsticks (apart from reds) as they always seem to clash with either my fair, cool-toned skin or my red hair. But these two are both stunning! I'm so pleased!

I should be getting my order with Party Parrot (and my Daphne Guinness haul) soon, but I accidentally ordered it to my home address instead of work so I guess I might have to jump through some hoops to get it re-delivered. I'm a little worried that Party Parrot might be too similar to Impassioned - has anyone compared them?

I feel like I'm on a real bright lipstick kick now, which is so unusual for me as I usually wear subtle to moderate lip colours or bright true reds, so I'm out of my comfort zone. What eye makeup can I do with these lipsticks other than light neutral eyeshadow + black liner? I am approaching 30 and work in an office, so whilst I'm fairly adventurous makeup-wise I don't want to look like a clown or like I'm trying to look too young...

I haven't gotten a ship notice for Party Parrot yet, and I have another MAC order from the weekend that I got a ship notice for, but it still says "we received notice that your item will be shipped" or whatever. I'm hoping the packages just show up ahead of the shipping notices.

Anyone who has Flamingo already - can you compare it to Fresh Salmon, Ever Hip, Jazzed or the Gentle Simmer Slimshine? I'm dying to know what it's really like.

To my eye, SI is a bit brighter. Plus, I think the matte finish just makes it seem that way.

A bright matte lipstick, just as Iris ordered.

OK... I got Party Parrot. And the bright pink lip liner to go with it. Now, I go bold on my lips sometimes and even sort of bright... But NEVER anything THIS bright! Now, don't get me wrong, it looks pretty neat, but I'm not sure I would wear this out of my house!
I'm wearing it around my house and glancing at myself every hour or so, trying to get use to seeing this shade on myself, but I'm just not sure! It seems like the longer I wear it, and the more it sets in, the BOLDER and BRIGHTER it looks! I'm kinda nervous wondering if I'll EVER reach for this lippie!

I wear them to university, to buy fast food, to scare my students, you name it!

I needed Party Parrot, but to be honest, I'll probably pat it on with my finger and never apply it straight from the tube. It is really bright! I love bright lippies. I wore Neon Orange with a neutral eye for 5 days straight when I went to England this fall. My make-up look for the plane trip was minimal eye make-up and Neon Orange LOL. I'm sure it looked hottttt at 3 a.m. on the red eye :shock:

I'm so worried about looking like a crazy person who maybe didn't realize she was putting NEON PINK lipstick on! It's one thing to be on trend, it's another thing entirely to look like a nutso!

That's a good rec to just blot some on, but then I have a million normal bright pink lippies for that job... so, I still probably wouldn't choose this one at that moment either.

Honey, I wear them anytime, anywhere. School, work, out and about doing errands, etc. XD
