I guess she only refers to the shades, rather than look. She says that the formula of those pressed pigments is powder, but at the same time they have a bit of wet-look shine effect to them due to the glitter particles.

I saw this in the NY Times today:

WINGED EYES AT ZAC POSEN
For kohl-winged eyes, the MAC cosmetics lead artist, Kabuki, reimagined the traditional geisha of Japan “as a sleek couture confection.” To transform yourself, blend the brand’s Bare Canvas Paint Pot over your eyelids. Apply Fascinating Eye Kohl through the upper lashlines and extend it outward. Sweep Light Touch Pressed Pigments (available autumn/winter 2012) across your eyelids. Then apply Smolder Eye Kohl through the waterline of the lower lashes and extend outward to elongate your eyes (using the No. 266 small angle brush). On the runway, MAC Expensive Pink eye shadow was shaded through the crease of the eye, and Haux eye shadow was used through the inner crease and brow.
COLORFUL EYELINER AT COSTELLO TAGLIAPIETRA
Lisa Buter of MAC cosmetics accented a natural-looking face with light green-blue liner under the lower lashes and on the outer corners of the eyes. To get the look, apply MAC’s Studio Fix Lash in Black Fix over the lashes. Then take a false-eyelash (MAC’s 33 Lash), cut it in half and apply it to the outer corners of the eyes. On the runway, MAC French Nougat Fall Trend Lip Palette (available autumn/winter 2012) was applied to the center of the eyelids with a No. 224 tapered blending brush. Coffee Walnut Pro Sculpting Cream (available autumn/winter 2012) was blended through the crease with a No. 217 blending brush. Then the Delft and Natural Fibre Fall Trend Crème Eyeshadow Palette (available autumn/winter 2012) was mixed and applied along the lower lashline using a No. 211 Pointed Liner Brush, intensifying the inner lower lashline with Natural Fibre and extending the upper outer lashline.

Delft and Natural Fibre Fall Trend Crème Eyeshadow Palette (available autumn/winter 2012) sounds delish. As does the sculpting cream in the walnut colour...

TY for posting that!

If you love that blue liner color they got in that photo, you should get yourself an Industrial p/g or two. It's got more duochrome grey and violet than this fall look, but that actually makes it 10x nicer, if you ask me.

Sorry I'm really out of the loop here but is there any info on the summer products? I'm hoping it's more exciting than Surf Baby.

Hot pink, electric lime, neon aquas etc etc.. summer packaging would be much appreciated! I'm getting bored with all the boring black signature containers.

I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned, but here's a link talking about the MAC - Ruffian collection. Not sure what all the secrecy is over...adhesive nails?

Thanks for the link. The text is really hilarious: "The velvet flocked nail tips were specifically imagined for the girl who lives in the city and goes and visits her family in the countryside of England." ROFL

I liked the: "She comes from money, so she’s allowed to be a spectator in her own life."
