I have most of the lipsticks already & I'm not very interested in the nail polishes cuz I think I can find some pretty good dupes, but idk what lipglasses to get. I'd like most of them but I'm not willing to spend that much.

i have to admit, i am kind of lost as to what's available where, and when and whatever...

so far my list is kinda small...i'm most interested in nail polishes. i like the glosses for the lipsticks i have already, but i'm trying to shop my stash for lip products, so i think i'm going to have to exercise a bit of control in that matter. although i was thinking it might be a good idea to buy russian red lipstick to replace my older one and see if the matte finish is the new one....

Have you called your local Mac store? Were only getting the North America collection here in NY. So ordering online for any of the other shades is our only option at this point.

no i haven't done that yet...i guess i will go in on thursday, and maybe bring some empties so i can back to mac if i end up wanting some lip products after all!
but i think i will go through my collection and determine which lipsticks or glosses i'm going to ditch if i buy anything...

Rebel is an awesome color on. I think I'm going to get the gloss & np now.

Makeup trends, like fashion trends, always recycle! Obviously, MAC is bringing out brown lipsticks to prepare us for the Fall trend color lineup. Like Mac-Guy mentioned about the Fall Lip Palette. If you think about it, bright lips and clothes used to be associated with the 80's... now they are back! I never put myself in a box and say "that shade belongs to that era." Almost certainly you will be rocking that color again! The 90's was a long time ago.... and I'm happy to see things coming full circle! I mean, there are only so many colors and shades available. I want to be able to set my own rules for what looks good and flattering on me. And, if my memory serves me correctly, Rachel (from "Friends") was one hot cookie trend-setter with those lips and haircuts!
I ordered Spice and will more than likely go back for Chestnut as well. I'm open to it! If I could get myself to wear Party Parrot, a brown shouldn't be a problem! HeeHee

I am tipping over into team spice, I think. With all these browns coming out, it reminds me of Revlon Toast of New York!

I like the idea of fashion sets. I wish they (especially the lipglosses) were perm. I like Please Me best.

I JUST placed my order and here's my list:

Morange l/s
Morange l/g
Girl About Town l/g (I already have the lipstick)
Spice l/s
Spice l/g

I CANNOT wait to get my hands on Spice. It kinda reminds me of Pillow Talk (which is my faaaaavorite nude lip) lipstick, just a tad darker! I usually don't backup items, but I regret not backing up Pillow Talk. If Spice tickles my fancy like I think it will, I'm definitely backing up the l/g and the l/s.

As far as Morange ... I know the lipstick is permanent but I like for things to be complete so I had to get the l/s with the l/g lol.

Rebel lipglass is pretty gorgeous! And Snob and Saint Germain look soooo weeeird on Temptalia lol. I've never tried them myself, but I'm warming up to Gaga 1 and I like Naughty Saute. I just think Snob and Saint Germain would wash me out (particularly Saint Germain). I wish Girl About Town looked decent on me, lol. I don't know what it is about that shade, it's just not very flattering on me at all.

Ugh, I already placed my order and now I want the l/s and l/g for Peachstock and Impassioned. I'll order those sometime next week but I will B2M for Impassioned. I'm still indecisive about Rebel l/g.. I already have the l/s.

I have the majority of the lipsticks in the Fashion Sets collection, but for some odd reason I'm not interested in getting their matching l/g besides GAT lol
