Ooh, those Ruffian nails look awesome! They actually inspired me to buy some press-ons again. I found something similar to the black and gold set by Pretty Woman (Rite Aid), but they're black with silver tips. The only real downside is that you can generally only wear press-ons once, and these will likely be pricey.

I am curious to see more about the lipsticks though. Need some swatches.

ETA: Same product, different photo angle - http://lockerz.com/s/209279031

ETA 2: Wait wait...I just realized that the gold part of the nail is supposed to be at the base of the nail, not the tip.....SCREW THAT! I want gold tips! Good thing I have good nail files. I can make this happen. *determined fist pose*

The nails are so hideous and cheap looking, ew! Why would they sell that? But I'm actually kinda glad that MAC is selling so much junk lately...I can't afford to spend hundreds every month like I used to.

I spoke to a friend today who was giving me some teasers about some things she was lucky enough to see at her update (she is a manager). She got to see some promo photos that aren't in current circulation. Please note she did not have any product information nor do I.

Marilyn: She says this is definitely "beauty makeup". It has special packaging although it is black. I think she said it had a silhouette on it.

Holiday: Yes, holiday. Hang on to your hats because I don't know what the theme or products are but the packaging is very UN-holiday like. I was told it was kind of boudoir/animal print in a fun way. She loves it (and this isn't her usual type of thing). She says that this and HC are her two big shops for this year.

She also mentioned that the BD powder doesn't seem very user friendly.

After hearing this I told her I needed a job with her for the holidays and she could pay me in gratis.

I tried it with a 109SH, which is a bit smaller than the regular 109 and I was able to maneuver around the dots, though it is certainly a challenge.

I'm very interested in the Marilyn collection and now also in the holiday collection. That boudoir/animal print packaging sounds nice. Thanks for the info!

Thank you for the info mac-aiken!! I am super psyched about the Marilyn Collection as well as the Holiday collections. Animal prints sound fun to me.
I can't wait to find out info on the products & names. I have a feeling this Fall/Winter collections will bankrupt me more than previous years. I've been good by not buying any Summer collecitons, but it's hard to resist.

Thanks for the info. I don't think that we have had animal print packaging since style warriors!

So excited to be hearing about Holiday collections already!! Every year my fingers are crossed that MAC will release mini lipstick sets (similar to the mini lipglasses, dazzleglasses, or cremesheen glasses). Maybe one day my wish will come true! Has this ever been done? I heard somewhere that they had released mini lipsticks in the past, but wasn't sure.

Oh lordy, animal print packaging is an automatic bank buster for me. I bought nearly everything when Style Warriors came out. I don't even wear most of it to be honest, but I love me some animal prints.

I love it when MAC anticipates and fulfils our needs like this!

I have no interest in the Ruffian nails at all. I am really looking forward to the Gold lipstick too! I am horrible at budgeting sometimes. I either spend tooo much or get nothing at all because I can't make up my mind

I'm only guessing, but I wouldn't have thought there would be Pro discount on the Marilyn collection because of licensing - MAC would have to pay to use Marilyn's name and image
