I tested them fresh out of the box - literally - at my local MAC - i was the first one to have a go at them. Generally speaking, they started out dry, did not go on smoothly, and to get even color i had to put them on more thickly than i would like. Different colors went on differently - some were a bit better behaved than others, but none were really good. Also, I found them not very easy to blend out. In short, my experience was not so different from T's.
First, i found ALL the liners difficult to apply and control. I rarely have trouble controlling liners - i grew up in the days of cake liners and mostly very fine tight lining with clean edges using very fine brushes - and i have passed through the days of smudgy eye pencils/crayons. But these dragged and tugged on my lids (and i moisturize them! and had on UD PP) and they made very uneven, blotchy lines. I doubt that was MAC's intent, unless they really wanted that punk, i don't know what i'm doing and i don't give a #$%@* look - and one can get that with some really cheap DS lines and not pay MAC prices.
Little Miss Moffet - black liner - white shadow - both opaque and matte
Black liner - I don't wear black on my eyes (except the occasional mascara - but i prefer dark brown) so i didn't bother with it.
White shadow - it was among the better behaved shadows, quite opaque, somewhat blendable, but if i want a white cream shadow, i'll get some other brand.
Drag, Strip - sparkly blackened navy liner - opaque matte sky blue shadow
Liner: blackened navy with navy sparkles - i don't wear navy anything and this wasn't exciting on my arm and did not go on very smoothly, so i didn't bother to test it on my eyes.
Very light sky blue shadow, opaque & matte, went on OK, but it didn't just glide on and it just kinda sat there - the color was... ok..., but i really did not like the look of its consistency or finish.
Beth or Glory - dark brown liner - royal blue shadow - both opaque and matte
Dark brown liner - on me the brown liner looked quite matte, thick, opaque, dead - not an enhancement - i wear a lot of different brown liners in matte, satin, and shimmer finishes, and this was just no joy at all - it looked like caca.
Royal blue shadow - very bright and intense. In the photos it looks like it has a little sparkle, but that seemed pretty insignificant on my lids. It's a lovely color, but not one i wear often, and again, to get good color it went on thick and a bit uneven.
Beth Mask - this was the one i was most interested in - both are colors i wear - both have shimmer - and both looked nice in the photos
Bronze shimmer liner - it was so tough to get on evenly - i didn't hate the color, but the application and coverage were terrible.
Peach shimmer shadow - it was less awful, but i had to go over my lids several times to get even coverage and that sure didn't feel good.
In the end i looked like i'd been in a bar fight a few days before and there were recovering bruises on my eyes (and, i reiterate - these are colors i actually wear in other products that look nice!) I was very disappointed because i was ready to love this - and there was just no love.
