Yuki! Thanks for the swatches. I was in heaven when I saw them. Unfortunately, I'm loving the lipsticks and lipglasses. I was sure I could skip the lip products. But now I may get some. As for vein hunting. I have such a hard time figuring out what I want. I'm tempted to order online and leave it up to the mac gods. But I'm still going to try for in store vein/swirl hunting. So far, I just know I'd like a bit more purple for the Stratus blush. I still need to figure out a strategy for everything else.

I'm Yuki the owner of the blog "Yuki's Lazy Channel." My English is poor.

Please forgive my poor English.I'm SORRY for my bad swatches photos :D. My swatches always comple at press events. In the event,I always have one or two hours to do all swathes, and the place of press event usually doesn't have a good lighting to take pictures. I'm not a profession photographer and don't have a DSLR, So I just can do my best to show the collections.I'm glad there're so many people to watch my swatches.

! Thank you!

I think it's kind of crazy on here sometimes. One minute we are crying for swatches and the next minute there are complaints that the swatches aren't good enough. If we don't appreciate the swatches we get as we get them, then why would any blogger bother doing them? Different skin tones, lighting, product inconsistencies, etc... can all be reasons for a less than perfect swatch. But that is no fault of the blogger that was kind enough to share them. That takes time and commitment and that is fully appreciated by a lot of people. I know it gets antsy around release time for a collection, and with so many of us buying online and relying on swatches, it can be extra stressful... But let's give credit where credit is due... A shout out and thanks to ALL bloggers for their time and efforts! You all certainly help me in my selections a great deal! Along with recommendations and swatches and looks from my fellow Specktra peeps, I am happy to have access to this community and make more informative purchase while having a great time doing it!

So far this is my list Pleasureseeker Venus Cut a Caper (If I don't get Razzledazzler instead) Fire Sign (If it goes strawberry red on me like Viva Glam Cyndi_ Strictly Plutonic Meteoric Astral Galaxy Rose Earthly (It if is a grey leaning taupe) Skipping the MB (don't like them the colors) and MSFs (I have 25 in my stash, I'm pretty much set) Hmmmm....to get Razzledazzler or wait for Cut a Caper......Anyone have both out there?
I'm wondering the same thing. I just ordered Razzledazzler online yesterday and was wondering if it's similar to Cut a Caper or Pleasureseeker?

I have Razzledazzler and will order both Cut and Caper and Pleasureseeker. Some people love their bright pinks - I love my corals! :)

Specktraettes, I need your help, guidance & MU wisdom!!! I am so behind on things. After seeing the initial swatches I still have no clue. Will definitely not be buying blind, will have to wait to see in person. I grabbed some MESs at the CCO but haven't even touched them & when I swatted them I used Fix+ to make them pop & see there potential, but I was doing it on the wrist. Does anyone use Fix+ to make the MESs 'come to life'??? If not, what do you use? What do u all mean by swirl hunting??? I'm assuming that you mean looking for the colors are more prominent than other colors, as it affects which colors the products are going to be. I do know I want most of the lipsticks...problem is I really dislike lustres. Does anyone have any tricks to keeping lustres vibrant besides using a lipliner to keep them on??? I Iove the way they go on initially but there is just no staying power. I just bought a few hoping my old opinion of them was wrong, not so much. What should I expect the texture & finish of the MSFs & MBs are like? I don't have any knowledge of semi-precious but have recently become hooked to highlighters, therefore I really want to grab a few of these. What are some fair skinned (NC 15-25) ladies leaning (that have experience with mineralized stuff) towards MBs and MSFs??? If you made it this far, thank you in advance for any help & advice!

I am really intrigued by Razzledazzler but look horrible in Nude type colors because I gravitate towards bold lips. I've been trying to find a BOLD NUDE, something that isn't light, but can't tell from the swatches if I'd like RD or not. & I can never trust the description on MACs website. I saw Richelles link to the comparisons of Razzledazzler and Cut a Caper but can't figure out if it's too light for my liking. Do any fair skinned NC 15-25's have pictures of them in Razzledazzler? I don't know if this helps but I HATED THE WAY SPICE LOOKED ON ME, but tolerate I Love Winter & NARS Vendanges (but hate the finish). Help! I don't want to have skipper's or buyer's remorse over RD. Thank you.

Hi Spanky, I use evian water that I spritz on the brush head after picking up the colour and that's how I apply them "wet". It's the spray bottle from sephora! I guess they mean the more defined/distinct the pattern, the better (i.e. not one messy colour). From the MB I have, dainty and warm soul are definitely glittery and shiny while the newer ones (Fresh Honey, Subtle Breeze) are more satiny and almost matte-ish on me. I honestly don't know what I am leaning towards. This maybe a skip for me (NC20).

Awwwww Razzledazzler is going to be re-released??? With what collection?? Mine is over after all these years.
Hi Sophia84, Razzledazzler L/S was re-released with Fashion Sets and sold out pretty quickly... But it's currently restocked and available on the US website! :) HTH... it's a beautiful color and I love it!

Thanks Baghdad81. When I use shadows wet, I use water & it works well. I just wonder how people use Fix+. I have it and never use it. MACUPS mentioned that Warm Soul would be a good blush to check out, but I haven't had a chance. out of all the blushes you mentioned, which do you prefer? I guess I'll wait for more swatches, like many others & then check it out in the store if I make it.

So it seems Ever Hip and Cut a Caper are essentially the same?  Can anyone tell any difference?  I can't get Razzledazzler here so it's kinda nice to see they look similar too... Hopefully this should help!
[/quote] Hi Peachtwist. Do you have Cut a Caper? How do you like it? Just curious because I know you were displeased, as was I, with Spice...therefore, I'm hesitant to buy Razzledazzler blind. Did Spice ever grow on you?

Hey Spanky. Nope, don't have Cut a Caper, just have Ever Hip. Going off the swatches though they look similar and I like Ever Hip. Spice hasn't grown on me, unfortunately, no. If you do decided to buy Razzledazzler blind and dislike it though I'm sure a lot of people on the forum would be willing to buy it from you. Heck, I may even! Lol.
