Is anyone else experiencing glitter fall out from RG? It's fine on, but as it wears away glitter is left on the lips. I thought I'd done a pretty thorough job washing my face last night (Clinique cream cleanser to remove most of makeup, liquid facial soap, toner, serum, turnaround night cream. Shower this morning, liquid face soap, toner, moisturizer, primer, foundation....and then I saw some very very fine glitter in the foundation. I don't know what else it could be from; they're tiny little buggers and they don't really want to come off.

I'll be careful to use makeup remover on my lips from now on. I tried RG when I got home from work and now that it's worn off, I'm seeing some microscopic glitter on the skin above my upper lip and around the sides of my mouth.

I still love the lippie, but I need to find a better way to remove the traces. Has anyone else had this or have evil glitter fairies moved in?

The same thing happened to me.

i first tried on the nude, then the gold. after i removed it to tried the red one on i had golden glitter everywhere. i just left it like that cause the tissue wasnt helping and the pool took care of removing it.

When I swatched them side-by-side in store they seemed pretty similar on my skin, definitely not dupes by any means but I preferred CC over YPL.. but you're right from what I do remember, YPL is lighter and less pink than CC! I've only done a hand swatch with the tube I got, I'll have to report back on how I feel about it! It is a glaze which is pretty sheer, I'll have to report back how it does on my lips, since they are pretty pigmented. Yayy! BUs all around. I just love Ruffian Red. I think the Marilyn lipsticks will be a little darker and vampier, but more incentive to welcome them to my stash, too!  Hahah BUs are trouble! 

yeah I agree I had to put lipgloss over ypl like it though, but not as much as cc.

I totally love ruffian red!!! not going to back it up cause i have like 50 lippies now and i know that im gonna keep buying from future collection. nude looks funny on me, i think that it will look good in the fall-winter cause i look soo burned right now. Massachusetts is sooo hot right now, 2nd day in the pool and i think i need a foundation 2 shades darker!!

*by the way i dont tan, its just that i have to swim to exercise my joints due to my AutoImmune . i would never grill myself in the sun!!!

You're not alone. I had fallout after I swatched it and had little sparkles migrate across my face.

This is me, too! I can't believe how much my collection has grown since my obsession began last summer. One day soon when I have time to inventory everything, I'm going to have to take a pic of it all.

Lol, I may have to give my collection a name if it keeps growing like this. I've started taking inventory of it now bit by bit before it gets worse.

All of this fallout talk makes me second guess wanting Gold. I only have Red (on the way still, UPS is slow) and was thinking of getting Gold. I'll have to hear what the general consensus is. Btw, anyone have Naked and YPA? I have YPA and don't want a dupe if I decide I want to get Naked. Thanks.

I haven't noticed any fallout. I used Hot Tahiti today and took a lip brush and dabbed just the smallest amount of Ruffian Gold in the center of my top and bottom lips and it stayed for a pretty long time, but I didn't notice any glitters migrating.

I'm wearing RR right now and tried RN earlier.

I love all 3 but.... RN is going to be harder for me to wear. Not only did I almost look sickly, but made the redness on my cheeks and chin (mild) come out looking way worse than it is. So, RN will be for full make-up days only

RR IS NOT BLUE BASED. No way, no sir, no how. If it was labeled as a yellow based red I wouldn't have grabbed it. However, I'm liking it! It's only slightly yellow based so it works fine for me.

I'm surprised how much I love this mini collection.

Let me clarify that the fallout occurred after I was removing the lipstick. Little glitter flecks started to appear on my cheeks and chin while I was wiping the lipstick away. I still think Ruffian Gold is gorgeous to have, especially with all of its layering possibilities. I just have to be more careful in how I remove it.

This thread has me twisted. I love the swatches here but on T, not so much. The red looks great and the gold seems unique. If the nude is anything like Myth, it will be as hideous on my lips as it was on T's. As I said, I will probably hesitate until too late then pay mad prices later.

I guess with the matte finish, I really do want to get the red and the gold. IF the gold is actually dupeable, I would love to know that. Does anyone have the Dior Or Etoile Lip Color? Is the Dior one perm? I actually liked that one better on her.
