OT: WHEN DID MB COST 28$ IN CANADA??? Last time I checked, it was 26$ with naturally? RIGHT? I know regular blush was 20 for a while, then 24$ and the hey sailor ones were 25.50$. I AM CONFUSEDDD!!

This is what I get for not checking Specktra before I go to bed. I woke up to the MAC email and I was like WTH?!? Already???

But with second day shipping there was no way I wasn't placing an order. I got Stratus, Water, and Sky. I was on the bubble about Bright Moon and Magnetic Attraction so I might do a second order. I'm hoping once swatches start popping up that Magnetic Attraction looks close to Faux Gold so I can skip it. Bright Moon may suck me back in though.

I feel like they hate her now or something. She never gets stuff early any more.

If you haven't noticed, pretty much nobody does anymore. MAC seems to want everybody to buy blindly so that if the products are junk, nobody will know till they have already spent the money. Still don't understand why there is so much hate for a nice person who never did anything wrong to the people who hate her and instead goes out of her way to help those people to know exactly what kind of products they are buying.

It's been a rough morning for me! Hubster kept storing so loud that he woke himself up....several times. So the light( takes an hour to sleep) sleeper that I am waited forever for him to calm down. Got my shipping notice at 2:23am and the other one three minutes later! Woke at 7am clicked on the tracking info and all I saw was yellow! The dreaded Exception title, come to find out the durn plane shipping from the county next to me broke down. Of course I said a few prayers and checked back at 9:30....SCORE!!! I'll get my goodies at some point today. Thrilled to say the least, got some extra strength coffee brewing, no naps for me

Thanks for the swatches! I love Water from your swatch. Supernova and Star Wonder look more corally in your swatch than i expected, but maybe on my skin they will turn out pinker. I'm sure getting Supernova just for the name.

Greed, Greater Fools Theory, pick your favourite conspiracy theory. They clearly haven't hit the price at which sales drop enough for it to not make sense. I don't like it, but that's what I think is going on.

That really seems to be the case. Have had a few collections come out without seeing her swatches first. Last year was totally different. Sadly the whole hating thing comes with the territory over the internet. People get extra bold thinking they can do and say anything without any form of repercussions. That's Ethugs for ya

Just because I buy blind, doesn't mean I won't return it if I don' like it. But I think MAC should still send her the products earlier. I would probably buy MORE if I had a better idea of what the products looked like.

That is exactly right. I think people are more willing to spend more for something they are crazy to get with CONFIDENCE instead of unsure by buying blindly!

haha, I don't hate her either (or feel any emotion towards a stranger on the interwebs). But I think Miss Dynamite was referring to drama that has long been deleted off the threads.

I can't decide if it's a good thing or bad thing that bloggers don't get a lot of stuff early anymore. Is it better to feed or suppress my addictions?

OMG...DH almost always wakes me up when I am asleep and I am not a light sleeper...in fact, I sleep really well and you literally have to drag me out of bed! It is so funny when he sometimes wakes himself up too.
