T's swatches aren't doing anything for me. Although I have to get Aurora. I hope these MES don't bother my eyes. Earthly looks like Havana to me. (I hope so I can skip it).


I really need one of you ladies (OK ALL) to do a look wearing Earthshine. I don't see the beauty in it. Of course, I don't really know how to use MSF's. I end up giving most of mine away, and the tend to break me out.

I just placed my second order and now I think I am done! I got Magnetic Attraction MES, Ring of Saturn blush and Meteoric csg! And free overnight shipping again, yaay :)

, but trying to be sensible. So, lurking in my bag at my local MAC shop, where i swatched and pre-ordered last week, are:
Earthshine MSF
Stratus Blush
Bright Moon, Earthly, Magnetic Attraction, Neo Nebula eyeshadows (i skipped the darkest ones - and i have a sort of dupe for Invincible Light)




And i may yet give in and get
Light Year MSF
Solar Ray blush
These two colors are more practical for my coloring (bet 15 & 20 neutral), but i have been looking for a dark plum blush with metallic shimmer for a while and Stratus is just perfect. And if i get Stratus, how can i skip Earthshine? I mean, Stratus needs company so it won't be lonely...

I ended up testing 3 of the lipsticks, and while they were quite nice, i felt like they weren't all that different from colors i already have or can find elsewhere.

Earthshine really reminds me of one of the stripes in the Warm Blend MSF. Def great for the browner girls.

I had to run away and take care of business for a while and i just got caught up on this thread. For some reason T's swatches just aren't doing anything for me. I mean that's usually true just because I dislike her lighting and much prefer her video reviews but idk. I just have MAC ennui all of a sudden.

I feel indecisive. I am def glad I got Water. I'm thinking I want Sky but then I would be getting three bluish shades. I'm so drawn to blue/teal though. I want to take advantage of the free 2 day ship code but I guess I do need the counter to put spice back into my makeup experience.

Ooook now I'm quite sure on the lip products I want.. Fire sign, cusp of dawn and strictly plutonic... now I have to choose between the face stuff... I guess Supernova is the less shimmery! Earthshine and stratus are beautiful colors but too dark for my tastes...

Health care is so much more important than make up. I'd rather have "free" health insurance and pay more tax.

PS: I still understand how annoying it is to have to pay seemingly much more. I guess in the end, it all evens out.

I'm loving T's swatch of Ring of Saturn, but I know if it's really shimmery (particularly if I see gold in it) that I won't like it. It's sitting in my cart, but I think I'll just take it out and wait until I can see the product in store. I'm sure I could sell it if I don't like it, but it's best to just avoid purchases that I'm this much on the fence about.

Love the colour though. Love. I just don't know how I'd tone down the sheen, even though I'd use a light hand with it.

Did you get Ring of Saturn yet? I'm sure it will look great on you, I will definitely get it. And it doesn't look as shimmery as Solar Ray.

I was wondering about bite of an apple too. Ring reminded of that too. What is Salsa rose?
