Aww you're too sweet! I was hoping that SW would be more of a highlighter, and akin to Perfect Topping but I'm really liking the warm pinky feeling it has with the gold mixed in with it!

I was really trying to be good and hold off and just get theBalm's Cabana Boy, but those darn swirls are mesmerizing! So I just used a Nord's giftcard I had from an in-store Toms shoe order that wasn't able to be fulfilled so I got 2 Star Wonders for $4.05 and I had the option for in-store pick-up yeahhh!

I just have to ask and I apologize if it's a stupid question but did you buy 2 so ones a back-up or b/c the swirls vary and you can have different ones essentially? I hope you enjoy them. I'm getting my SW tomorrow.

A little bit of both! It certainly is exciting to see what the two will look like side-by-side, but generally, I go with my gut and if I can afford to, I will BU a product, especially if I know it will get a considerable amount of use, as well as to ensure an extra in case of dropping it, losing it, and all the worst-case things that happen!

That's true, too! I've used eBay to buy the Sleek acid palette, which I know was for more than retail, but since Sleek isn't available here in the US and I wanted those neon bright shadows, cha-ching for that eBay seller lol

Some of their items have a dye that's not FDA-approved for sale in the US, so some things can't be bought off the website and shipped to the states, so I was like hmm okay, eBay it is!

Thank you so much for the offer I'll definitely keep that in mind! I just wanted the acid palette since fluorescent shades are few and far between here (most likely due to the FDA stuff).

I ordered Supernova from Nordies.

I thought of doing the store pickup but it doesn't come out until Thursday and I honestly thought that the option was an error and didn't want to risk my order getting messed up lol. If store pickup does work for people I am very jealous.

Btw, does anyone find it weird that Nordies is only carrying the color portion of HC? They also don't have Solar Ray and Pleasureseeker. I wonder if they're being selective or something.

I picked up my goodies on my way home from my parents' house! I'm surprised that I was able to pick it up so soon. In store pickups worked for Tres Cheek/Reel Sexy but not for Hey, Sailor!

This is my first small haul. Yesterday, I went to one of the larger MAC counters with hopes of placing a pre-sale order, but they hadn't unboxed the HC testers yet (all of their focus was on the Illustrated collection). Then I went to my usual counter, but my favorite MUA wasn't in. Sooooo, when the collection hit the Nordies site, I placed an order for items I KNEW I wanted. I didn't get any of the C/S/G since I knew they'd still be available on Thurs. Hopefully, I can either get a pre-sale order in for the rest of my loot or get there early on Thurs.

I LOVE the swirls on my RoS! My SW has more gold in it than I'd like. I'm debating whether or not I should try to buy a different one (one that is more pink/plum) and give this one away/sell it. Of course, I should probably try it out first. And I love all the lippies I bought so far. Venus for sure will be backed up. The other two might be backed up as well.

Light Year and Supernova will need to be seen in person. Who knows what else I'll come home with this week?

I think you got nice swirls. Did you see/try the Illustrated products? I'm trying to figure out when Illustrated will hit regular Mac stores. I have quite a few things on my Nordies' sale list and wouldn't mind getting Illustrated later if possible.

Yes, Christine's review and swatches got me, too! I was looking for a light peachy pink MSF. Surprisingly, I didn't have any MSF quite like it. I only have Porcelain Pink, By Candlelight, Perfect Topping, Refined, Stereo Rose, and Lightscapade. I think. Haha. When I saw Light Year on her site, I went

. I ordered mine right after I saw her swatches. I don't wear MSF very often (hence small MSF collection), but Light Year might change that.

I really loved light year. I just thought star wonder wouldnt work for me (NC40-42). But now I'm having doubts. All these swatches are killing me. I think I might check out the counters this week!
