Same. I'm not as happy about the packaging as I thought I'd be, but I still want a few things judging by the colour story, so at least I know I'll only buy things I actually will use rather than just for the sake of the packaging I guess

I've never bought MAC because of any special packaging, I actually prefer my containers all look alike ( just a little OCD).

Beauty powders can be used for several things like MSFs. Depending on the colour and your skintone it will be a highlight, blush or maybe even a contour or bronzer. This one sounds more like a highlight.

I'm sure they were probably EXTREMELY limited on the photos they were allowed to use. Marilyn's image is licensed out the wazoo... That's probably why we are seeing these little-known of photos rather than classic Marilyn-style ones. Maybe cheaper to use? I actually think it gives it a little character. But I can see why some may be disappointed given what we normally have in our minds when it come to Marilyn.

Same with me Liz2012! The packaging doesn't bother me at all. It's Marilyn and I'm excited. She looks beautiful.

I'm usually a person that doesn't give into the packaging craze, but for this collection I am. There may have also been just a few pics MAC was able to chose from depending on what Marilyn's trust (not sure if that's what it's called) would allow to be used on cosmetic packaging.

these photos of her are actually extremely rare. we were told a lot of them were actually lost in some kind accident so its nice to have something different
